Super rude staff, seemed irritated that I came to their establishment to order food lol Haven't even tasted the food but almost don't even want to eat it, what a waste of $30

One of my favorite places in the city. I believe they are still BYOB. Love the group seating!

This place is really simple which I like. It's basically what kind of pizza do you want? Among 4 people, we shared two pizza - the margarita and one with the artichoke. Both were way bigger than we expected. You order in the front and walk to the back where you can see them make the pizzas fresh in an open kitchen. I liked the artichoke one better than the margarita only because I felt like the margarita lacked in some serious toppings and was mostly sauce. Didn't taste too much of the basil or cheese. The artichoke one came with a butter and garlic sauce which I personally liked a lot better. Overall the crust was thin and crispy and I love the char from the wood fired oven.

Love Antico's. Perfect casual date spot, good authentic pizza and laidback Italian vibes. You can even bring your own bottle of wine to enjoy. Would recommend

My fav pizza spot ever! I'm a self-proclaimed pizza connoisseur, and between all the yummy slices I've had (including a ton in NY) I gotta say that Antico is a consistent favorite. The ingredients are fresh, the pizza crust is made so perfectly, everything tastes light and the flavors bounce around my mouth. If you're in ATL, this spot is probably one of the MUST tries. My favorite is the margherita but you can't go wrong with any of them!

Great pizza and good beer. It's as simple as it can get. Often I hear folks from up north complain about the quality of the pizza in ATL. This is one spot you won't have regrets about.

It has been a while since I've been to Antico in Midtown. It brought all the great memories back! Did not disappoint, excellent as always!!!

I went to this place with a few of my friends in ATL looking to eat some quality pizza and let me tell you I was not disappointed. The staff was very friendly and there was plenty of seating options available. We ended up getting the margarita pizza and a calzone. The Margherita pizza was cooked to perfection, and it was very thin slices. Since the slices are very thin one pizza will fill up to people only. The sauce for the margarita pizza had a perfect sweet tangy combination. The calzone on the other hand I was not a fan of. It was way too cheesy and was slightly burnt on the bottom. If you are a cheese lover, then the calzone is the perfect thing for you. A bonus for this location is that they have pepper Cheney oil and some chili paste that is free on the side. Be aware though, it is very spicy. Overall I also think it is fairly priced for what you are getting.

This was the best pizza I have had in the almost 30 years I've had in Atlanta. Admittedly I was born in the Bronx and grew up just outside of New York City and I am a complete and utter pizza snob. It's sort of a hole in the wall down by Georgia Tech but it's easy and really good authentic Napolitan style pizza. No real sides and a couple of salads are available. A couple of drink options but it's BYOB if you like. Sort of on the pricey side, but well worth it in my humble opinion. It's the same owner is it on is the four restaurants on the corner there. And Tico, Gios, Cafe Antico Gelateria, and Bar Amalfi. I am very stingy with my 5 star ratings so this one really hit.

The flavors of the Sophia will absolutely blow your socks off! Though a little floppy for a wood fire pie it was nothing short of amazing and would gladly pay the $27 again! The Margherita wasn't anything special in my opinion especially for the price. Everything was very expensive but I suppose I understand for being in the city.

Great lunch spot! Could also imagine this as a really nice casual weekend date night too. Authentic is beat way to describe this place (yes I've been to ). Or at least about as good as you can get here for a casual place. Great vibe as you sot among the ovens and staff. Pizza was great as was the boxed salad. Had low expectations for that salad but it was really nice. We also went for the afternoon Chianti of course. Can't beat that! It came recommended for a reason.

It's my go to pizza spot that is as close to Italian pizza in America as you can get. The place has a food hall, open communal seating vibe right next to the pizza kitchen. You can see the pizza being assembled fresh and thrown into the ovens. Tons of spicy and garlic cheesy toppings available too. The place is also BYOB so Doesn't break the budget for a casual weeknight dinner with friends or family.

I think they're overrated. They have a cute eat-in-the-kitchen concept, but the prices are not worth it for a pizza and simple pre-made lettuce salad. The pizzas don't come with very much sauce on them. They're more of the cheesy bread drier style, so I like to get some extra sauce on the side. I appreciate that they have hot pepper paste/oil and extra calabrian chiles on the side to help yourself. However, this means you definitely shouldn't pay to have them cooked onto your pizza! If you like a lot of spice, I think you'll appreciate what Antico has to offer. If you like your pizza with more sauce and flavors, I think you'll find Antico not bad, but overpriced and not the best. If I'm going to pay an arm and a leg for pizza, I would choose Amazza for sure. Antico does not have vegan options.

Okay, Antico has beyond 3K reviews and rates above 4 stars, but the hype is for real. From my personal experience, it is the best Neapolitan-style pizza and even pizza in general in Atlanta or that I have ever tried on the East Coast. The flavor and texture of the dough complement all the other ingredients. I would even eat the crust. Pro tip - request for extra San Marzano tomato (pizza) sauce.

Loved the pizza! It was great! Fresh ingredients and the crust.....sooooo gooood I need to get another pizza! The taste was authentic! The service was fast, the topping were good & some were spicy! Overall this pizza shop gets an A+. If you have not been here and you live in Atlanta, you should you go! It really was one of the best pizzas I've tasted and I've tasted a lot from my travels. We went on Saturday so Get there early, cause the people were really coming in around 12:30 ish.
