We had a table reserved for 12:30, since it is such a beautiful day today, we wanted to seat outside and we asked the lady if it was possible to seat us out there. The place was almost empty, she was upset about it but at the end she agreed to do it. We were standing while she was setting up the table and when she finished, did not even bother to let us know that the table was ready. Then we looked back and saw the table ready and decided to seat. We were waiting for 22 minutes and nobody came to help us out. We had to go inside and ask if anyone was going to be serving us, she said just said I’m sorry I’ll be out in a moment. Other people came to the restaurant and she served everybody else before coming to help. When came to serve us we were ready to order so she served the water and took our orders. 14 minutes passed before our coffee came. Another 20 minutes had passed and we saw people that came way after us already eating, and our food nothing. At 1:32 we had to go and ask for our food. Nothing has come, while other tables were already finishing their food. This has been an awful experience, definitely the service was not good and would not recommend this place to anyone.

Living in Alpharetta for over 35 years it's great to have a landmark hotel like The Hamilton in city center that is different from the Avalon atmosphere. Went there with my wife on Friday night for a cocktail before dinner elsewhere and found the bar to be at about 20 percent capacity with four bartenders working. It took 10 minutes before a bartender approached, and that was after a different guy walked up to the bar and the bartender waited on him first. I used to work as a consultant to Hilton Hotels based out of Beverly Hills and have both worked and stayed in a number of their full service hotels. To have a bar this empty with four bartenders working and to wait 10 minutes even to get acknowledged let alone take our order is an embarrassment. The hotel management needs to provide better oversight and get better bartenders, especially for what they charge for a drink. And having a bartender say "I'll have to check to see if we have the ingredients to make that drink" shows poorly trained staff. The drinks were okay, but the service was unacceptable.

Had an event with my company and the place was fantastic to host our big group. Thank you

The food was good, atmosphere with the live music was awesome. The service was atrocious. The server got our food order wrong and then argued with us that we didn't order the dish we wanted. The dish served wasnt even on the brunch menu.

The food was flavorful and the portion sizes were good. Our service was was very good. The atmosphere was nice- we ate outside. The music was a little loud for my wife, but it was at a good level for outdoor dining.

Our meal was delightful, but the appetizer portions could have been larger. The decor, atmosphere, location and crowd were trendy and pleasant. But without a doubt, the one experience that made the entire evening was a talented and highly personable bartender, Ada!!! She is a master mixologist!! With friends who have very particular and discriminating tastes, she wowed them! Sadly, the majority of bartenders out there now lack basic skills, but Ada was a true professional! We’ve since returned a couple of times, but always make sure she is bartending before we sit down for libations.

Worst food I’ve had in years, the Easter brunch for $45 dollars was an absolute waste of money. Such a huge disappointment for a restaurant in a 5 star hotel.

Hidden gem! We had a lovely brunch on the patio which had great light without being too sunny. Service was great and the food was amazing. Definitely recommend and will be back soon!

Easter Brunch: The whole meal seemed to be pre-cooked. The size of the serving was extremely small less than toppas. The quiche was more like a jello consistency then a quiche. The carrot cake was stale and over cooked. The appetizer was a 1/4 cucumber split with smoked salmon on It, another one was a crepe that was cold and rubbery with no flavor. The cost was $45 per person which did not include coffee, tea, etc. The worst meal we will not go back.

Carrie's Conservatory is a hidden gem inside The Hamilton hotel in downtown Alpharetta. I have been stepping in for a couple years now to enjoy the upscale but not pretentious vibe. Bartenders and servers are always smiling and happy to see guests come in. I've met clients to talk business, brought my children to eat dinner, sat on the vast patio and took in some sun while doing some work. It's a local favorite for me. Food is great and they will work with you on hosting events and large parties. They also put on some events of their own from time to time, check their calendar for those and live music nights.

Went for a fixed menu for Valentine's Day and really appreciated that there was a vegetarian option for each course. Would highly recommend the chef continue to offer flexible options. Everything was delicious! Great service and nice atmosphere as well.

Deborah did an outstanding providing us with friendly, attentive service. We started with the kale salad with tahini dressing, which was a very generous portion for 2; we took half of it home. Our entrees included the roast duck with tasty parsnip, satsuma sauce, fennel and the cioppino. It was prepared perfectly at medium rare temperature. The cioppino had a tasty tomato sauce with salmon, large shrimp, calamari/octopus served delicious slices of bread. We finished with the mille feuille/napoleon with a seasonal squash cream; the pastry was light and crisp and the squash was lightly sweetened and light. We had a very lovely evening out enjoying a creative culinary menu.

Carrie's Conservatory is a slick bar and dinning scene in downtown Alpharetta, nestled in the fairly new Hamilton Hotel on Milton Avenue. Having visited this restaurant in the early days of the hotel's opening, I can say that the drink menu and the food has markedly changed, and for the better. Prior to the recent shift in quality, the food was uninspired and the drink selection wasn't as imaginative. I was pleasantly surprised to see the place got an upgrade! Since this indoor and outdoor dining experience with a full bar is deep in the heart of this beautiful hotel, you might miss what it has to offer. I highly recommend checking it out. Modern, slick feel. Huge drink selection. Excellent food.My only critique/suggestion: the lights need to be warmed up and dimmed a little. This is the one change I didn't much care for in the bar area: it's just too bright. Soft and relaxing tones compliment faces and put people in more romantic, relaxed moods. Other than that, I don't have any other constructive criticism.

Cocktails were tasty. The appetizers were tasty. I would love to come here again to grab a drink and have a small bite.

My friend and I popped into Carrie's Conservatory for dessert. They were completely out of all the other desserts except the chocolate molten cake. I usually don't go for chocolate desserts but I'm so glad they made the decision for me. The chocolate molten cake is amazing! It's something you put in your mouth and you just sit and savor the texture, flavor, taste, everything. It came with a side of vanilla ice cream and crunchy almond butter? The waitress wasn't sure what it is but it was very good. The warm smoothness of the cake with raspberry filling, the crunchiness of the almond butter and the cold creaminess of the ice cream is a wonderful combination. I would return just for this dish. It tastes better than it appears.
