It's a local favorite! Don't go at peak times if you're not prepared to wait. You don't always have to, but be prepared. The food is fantastic. They don't have "ground beef" so enjoy the steak. All the salsas are good and spiced just right. And their takeout survives well to go home.

Relaxing Mexican music and friendly staff greeted me as I walked into the small restaurant tucked away right next to Kroger. There were a good number of people sitting at the bar watching a game and enjoying themselves on a Sat night 30 min prior to closing. I've been reading good reviews and I was looking for something less expensive so this seemed perfect. I couldn't help but laugh to myself knowing I was heading into El Trompo, which to me was too similar sounding to our last president to pass up. I order three tacos, all different meats to get a good sample...... Whoa the pork had a great slightly sweet taste that came as a nice surprise ! The beef was a step above what I'm normally used to...spiced better. Same with the chicken, a different spice than I'm used to, for the better !! Great value too! I'll be back!

Excellent authentic Mexican food. Tacos al pastor (chicken or pork) and carne asada are our favorite. The owner is super friendly and I’m sure will help you make a good selection. Lots of other delicious menu items but the tacos are what keep us coming back.

I've been coming to this place for over 15 years and they still have some of the best street style tacos around. They have a great selection of homemade salsa and I highly recommend the El Pastor tacos. I wish the place was a little more updated and larger inside but the food is good and that is the main reason I keep coming back.

There are plenty of available spaces.II. SERVICEEverything is ordered at the register. It's not a sit and order type of deal. We like that there's a salsa bar as a part of the dining experience.III. QUALITYThe meat won us over! Chicken can be pretty bland but they really know how to even whip that up with tons of flavor. As for healthy food options? Eh, you're not going to find much of that here.IV. CAPACITYFair amount of available seating on a weekday night. I assume this restaurant satisfies a majority of their customers through online orders.
