I recently met a colleague for lunch and we both love breakfast so we went back to the Original Pancake House. Although the service could have been better, the 6 egg omelet was almost too big especially when you have to have at least one pancake with it. Great place for breakfast any time but they do have other items on the menu. If you are in Alpharetta, give it a try.

We were staying in the Alpharetta/Avalon area for four nights. First morning we were there, Googled "breakfast places in Alpharetta" Had Ellie the first time and she was very personable. Coffee good; if you're not a big eater, split an order with another guest in your party. Food very good

Since it has been a couple years since we last ate here (we live 40 miles away), my husband and I decided to drive down for breakfast this morning. It was as good as we remembered! I always order my favorite treat, the huge baked apple pancake and my husband had a yummy western omelet. As usual, I took half the pancake home as it is so big and know it will be just as delicious tomorrow. Our server, Perry, was excellent...he kept our coffee cups filled and was very attentive and pleasant.

I ordered a Western Omelette with cheddar cheese which came with a side of three smaller pancakes. I also got a side of bacon, a side of home fried potatoes and a Sprite. The omelette was very large but flavorless. The potatoes were also flavorless. The bacon was too crispy for my taste but the pancakes and syrup were very good. The place was clean and Maggie, my waitress, was excellent.

Ate there with a group of 6 on Memorial Day. Very busy, but efficient service. Good, broad menu with lots of selections, and kid-friendly.

Sitting in lobby arguing with manager about my service dog. Not allowing us in, told them its ok she a service dog. They told me No cant come in they had complaints of dogs in restaurant!! Made us sit in lobby for 30 minutes until I force them to seat us. I number of guest being seated in front of us. Told the guest walking by they wouldn't seat us. Because of my service dog. Very very rude recommend quaker barrel

My food was pretty good and perfectly made although The portion was good, not super huge and I was actually able to finish my plate completely. It wasn't anything super special or fancy, came with bacon, chicken sausage, scrambled egg, especially with honey and butter. will come back again!

We found this breakfast option online and were able to "join the line" from home. When we arrived we were promptly seated at a table. They had plenty of options to choose from and most items came with pancakes. They even offered some good gluten free pancakes. There coffee was also pretty good!

First time at the eatery but definitely not the last. They have a wide array of options for different dietary needs. Customer service at the front desk could've been better but we had an awesome waitress which made up for it. It was quite useful to have the calorie count noted for each selection as you would otherwise opt for a breakfast that's as much as 70% of the daily recommended amount! I watched my teenagers with horror as they devoured their 6-egg western omelettes and accompanying buttermilk pancakes. Not for the fainthearted! Notwithstanding, we ALL enjoyed our meals and will be back sometime soon.

Pancakes and waffles of nearly every flavor you can imagine and really good eggs and omelets. They even have keto pancakes. Great service and the wait times aren’t too bad. Decent value for the quality.

First off, it is a tad dreary walking in. Then we sat down and saw the prices. Crazy. Want one waffle, that's about $10. Want some plain pancakes? That's about $10. Want a breakfast with some eggs, bacon, and potatoes? Now you're getting closer to $14. And the pancakes were just blah. Granted, they were pretty big and there were a lot of them but that doesn't make up for the fact they weren't very good. They barely held together so I had to scoop them. Not a whole lot of flavor either. Everyone goes on and on about the apple thing but, if you can't make a simple pancake, don't call yourself a pancake place. You really have to mess up to get one star from me but I contemplated it for this place.

We’d been to an OPH in Savannah (see my review) & loved it for the food, service & Deneen Pottery mugs that wife collects), so were excited to finally get to this one in NE Atlanta. Quite a wait, but signing in early on Yelp helped. Our server, male, about our age (so older than avg. server) was fine but seemed a little impatient. We ordered a coffee & hot tea, to which he 1st brought 2 coffees. On fixing, the tea water was just warm & the tea was Royal Cup. That’s a fine bulk Pekoe tea for the office, but a little surprised it was all they had here. Still, no problem, but hate that places like this come back & offer “more water” on your spent tea bag, but not another 5-cent tea bag when you’ve paid $2.90. They also have a dozen or so pancake types & in Savannah, they have a mix & match plate. Couldn’t find the option here & he quickly confirmed, “no, we don’t mix.” ? Okay, we ordered - her, buckwheat cakes & I got the eggs & bacon that comes with plain cakes. I upgraded to pecan cakes, which adds another $2.50. The food is plentiful & good, but pricey & the experience frustrating. Oh, & the mugs? Wife stood at counter a good 5-min. to buy an $18 mug, with no acknowledgement before giving up (they WERE busy, but still, more frustration). This rating is barely a 3. We’ll try other places next time in area.

Food was good but $11 for three pancakes with no sides is crazy. Wife and I ended up splitting the egg and sausage breakfast that came with 2 eggs, four sausage links and three smaller pancakes, still outrageous at almost $12. Food was good but I would have been happier at Cracker Barrel for less money, and I would have gotten biscuits, hash brown casserole, and sausage gravy for the same price. Daughter had a Minnie Mouse pancake.

Delicious!! Friendly service, amazing offering of juices, smoothies, and protein bars! Just what I needed after several days of fatty restaurant food. Would love to see one of these opened in Arizona!
