Meet Smokejack’s fast and casual cousin Jack’s Feed Store. The pulled pork sandwich got the job done. The sausage party didn’t taste fresh and some might think pita, pimento, and sausage is a weird combination. Employees showed hustle and were on top of it. There’s more seating than you’d expect for a restaurant originally focused on take out and catering. The laidback atmosphere is great, but so far we like the food better at Smokejack.

I walked to Jack's Feed Store after doing a 5K through Wills Park and it felt like I popped into my fave Austin BBQ joint. Loved the menu options, the birria tacos, and local sodas. Didn't even realize it was a sister restaurant to Smokejack until I saw a sign by the door. Same great quality!

My boyfriend and I recently dined here for lunch. We pass it all the time while driving around Alpharetta but have never stopped to try it. We finally stopped by and I am so very happy we did! I’ll preface by saying I’m not a huge barbecue fan. It’s never my first choice and I don’t really crave it. However, after coming here, I do believe I’ve changed my mind! Their Texas style BBQ was amazing!!! We both got the Flipsecutioner sandwich which was brisket, cheddar jalapeño sausage, coleslaw, pickles, and sauce. It was 100/10. Absolutely delicious! They let us pick between lean or marbled brisket, and both were spectacular! They had several different additional sauces to choose from to add to the sandwich. I tasted them all and all of them were delicious! The place is super cute with both indoor and outdoor seating. And the staff was great!! We had an amazing experience and I have a feeling we will be dining there again soon! Definitely recommend if you’re in the Alpharetta area!! ?

I don't like BBQ. I really don't. This place though is fantastic! The brisket chili is the bomb. I drive by and fantasize about it. No lie. Burnt ends are just as delicious. I tried the brisket last week and I loved that too. Sounds crazy what I am about to say but the pit master salad? It is awesome. The fried wontons are perfectly crisped and love the ranch dressing. Everything so far has been awesome. I have looked thru the menu and plan to try the brisket barria tacos next. Inside is nice and everyone one is nice inside. Oh! The pickles are amazing too!

Best Brisket I have had in a long time - well marbled, juicy, and smoked perfectly. My son and and I ate there - nice for fast casual yet “upscale” Barbecue (if there is a thing when talking BBQ) - seems to be geared toward catering but eating there is great too - nice outdoor space and several TVs going as well. It is the same business as Smoke Jack right up the street - but as mentioned, fast casual rather than seated and waited on - great addition to downtown Alpharetta and really glad to see the success - great hometown business - give it a shot and support a local owner/family - you will not be disappointed!
