Best Mexican food in South Georgia! The staff are friendly and the service is quick! We loved the salsa and guacamole! The food was of great quality!

Not even half the restaurant full. Old food on every table that someone wasn’t setting at, waited 10 minutes for a drink order, another 15 to get menus and the waitress never came back.
The food all tasted pretty much the same and that taste wasn't good. One of the dishes with freezer burned. And we literally witness them putting one dish in the microwave, so it's not fresh cooked. Everything had an identical sauce in the sauce tasted bad. I would not recommend going back here.

Awesome food. Usually eat here once a week. The service is great. Good for dine in or to go!

Eaten here many times, lunch and dinner. Always consistent. We are Mexican food snobs so hard to get a 5 star from us but El Leon for a small town restaurant in these parts is a step above the other eateries in town, and holds there own among the good Mexican restaurants in the area. Service is always prompt. Atmosphere is basic. A local favorite.

It is your typical small town Mexican restaurant, but it is the owners and the margaritas that keep us coming back! We always have a good time, and to be honest, even if the food was borderline, we would probably still go because we always have a good time!Kid-friendliness: They make my kids virgin margaritas and always accommodate their weird picky food requests

I’m being very generous by giving 3 stars. The food was great, not gona lie, but the service sucked and there were only 4 other tables besides us so it’s not like they were busy. We ran out of chips and still had so much guacamole & cheese dip left but no one ever came back to check on us so we didn’t get to finish it. We waited forever & decided to just get up & pay & ask for a bag of chips & to go box at the counter, only to find a hair in the bag later.
