Service here was terrible tonight (3-23) when we arrived we were told the wait would be 45 mins for a party of 2, no problem it was busy. After waiting for almost an hour, I asked the host how much longer. After looking at the list we were skipped and 4 parties had been seated before us. After I questioned why were we skipped they immediately sat us.After sitting at the table patiently for about 30 minutes a server finally came over to our table. She expressed that she noticed that we hadn't been help so she came over to server us. This is unacceptable. Service for us sucked. Not sure if or when I will return.

I’m gonna post a screenshot of my very first review for reference, but yesterday I had a bad experience here and I’m still pissed off about it. It was my first time back in a few weeks and there was almost an entirely new staff, which is not a problem and if you’re new, not knowing the menu is also not a problem. I’ve been a server, I know it takes a while to memorize everything.When I left my first review it was literally on the grand opening, I’ve been a regular EVER since and I’ve told all my friends and family about it and brought so many people in. I’m a GREAT tipper and I’m also not one to complain, ever.Yesterday I came with my sister and my daughter. My sister on one check and me and my daughter on another, my sister and I split the cost of a large cheese dip. Me and my daughter got the SAME thing we ALWAYS have gotten for months, enchiladas al carbon for me and a side of rice with additional cheese dip on top for my daughter (she’s 8). When she brought me my check it didn’t even look like my daughters side of rice was on there, I saw a $12.99 charge of something else. There was also a $2-$3 up charge for cheese dip on my enchiladas, BUT they already come with cheese dip on top so it has never been an additional charge. I wasn’t mad yet cause I knew it was prob just a mistake so I called my server over to ask (young white girl with shoulder length brown hair). I asked what the $12.99 charge was and she said it was my daughters rice…. I told her I was confused and she just said “I’m sorry”. A la carte rice with an added cheese dip charge is only like $6 so I’m not sure what she rung up. So then I asked about the additional cheese dip charge on my enchiladas and I told her cheese dip is is already a part of the dish and that it wasn’t an added charge, she said “they don’t come with cheese dip anymore”……. Yes they do ?I’m posting pics of all of this for reference. Pictured is my first review, my receipt from yesterday, and two pictures of their menu to show the price of rice and the enchiladas Al carbon description.I’m not necessarily mad over an extra $10, I’m mad that she lied to my face instead of just double checking or even offering to look to see if she made a mistake or going to ask if she didn’t know.

We enjoyed this place. We went on a Saturday night. We were seated right away inside. We had kids with us and they are kid friendly which is always good for us. Our waitress was friendly and patient. We got our order quickly.The food was extremely good and the drinks were good.Just note, it is kid friendly but drinks do not come with the kids meal and the drinks are around $4 each.

Brought the kids on a sunny Saturday afternoon. Sat on the patio which is nice since it’s set back off the street. Fun music and excellent food. The salsa is delicious and fresh and we loved the smoky bean dip —all free. Chicken burrito and chicken quesadilla was large and reasonably priced. The chicken has great flavor unlike some places where it tastes canned. Fish taco platter was good—we like the smoked spicy sauce and soup. Loved my fancy michelada loaded with tajin and lime. Fast and friendly service too, what’s not to like? Will definitely be back!

Service was fast and easy and the food was amazing! I had a grilled chicken quesadilla and my partner had their burger! Both amazing options! The margaritas can be a lil pricey but definitely worth the price for the size!

After eating to get seated our group was split up (understandably with a group of 12) but one of our tables was getting served immediately while it took 45 minutes to get a waiter at our table which we only got by getting up and finding a random waiter who agreed to take care of us instead. Waiter forgot about orders for some of us and we had to ask if we were getting them after 20 more minutes. Once ordered food, it came out good timing after ordering, however got food poisoning from this later that night lasting 3 days. Do not recommend going here, especially if it’s a couple days before anything important if you’d like to not have food poisoning the entire time.

This was my first experience here and it was better than I expected! At first we went to Taco Mama but quickly left because we wanted a sit down place with a good Michelada. The food was probably some of the best I’ve had—the michelada was HUGE and came with shrimp + tajin cucumbers (so good!!) and our waiter told us it was his first day—he did amazing! We came around lunchtime on a Saturday and surprisingly it wasn’t that busy. Super cute decor, and had great music as well! 10/10 recommend for a chill place with amazing food and good drinks!
Camille was wonderful. We had to wait for a table so we decided to order a drink. She quickly jumped in and helped us. We ended up having a table in her section. The table was a little loose but we made it work. Camille, food and the music/karaoke made it worth it. Great environment. Definitely recommend! Thank you Camille for making our first trip to Athens memorable!

3.5 stars out of 5 (rounded up to 4)I got the fish tacos lunch special. The tacos were nothing special, just average. The place is large and was quite empty and relaxed for lunch. Got a small margarita. That was pretty decent. The sides of the tortilla soup as rice were unremarkable. On the whole, it was just ok, but on the positive side, the price wasn’t too high. Will probably not be back in a hurry.
