Our first time dining here and it was excellent. Great service, cocktails, crab cake appetizer, fried shrimp, snapper, then crème brûlée for dessert.

Our server was very nice and attentive, but the food was under cooked and bland. Not much season or flavor. We paid a lot for each menu choice and did not feel as if we got what we paid for. My wife and I enjoy experiencing new restaurants, the food here was a complete let down. Very nice atmosphere although a little cold throughout the whole building.

I was very disappointed in hilltop grille.my husband and I planned a trip to Athens and to eat here for brunch. We didn’t even get seated. Plenty of parking. Plenty of seats. Was told we had a 45 minute wait. I asked if there didn’t have the staff, because there were plenty of tables. The hostess told me they didn’t have room for a two too with a child, because they had to keep tables open for reservations. Won’t be going back.

my grandfather called a week ahead to make sure a walk in would be fine just incase yall were busy and the person on the phone never even mentioned that yall did reservations. we walked in and were told yall were fully booked and wouldn’t have an open table for an hour and a half because all the tables had been reserved. no accommodations were made and nothing was done to try and fix the issue. communication is important in the restaurant industry, y’all should try it.

I was very impressed by this meal.I honestly didn't expect for the pork chop to be as large or as good as they were.The mashed potatoes are delicious and the collard greens were seasoned well. I ac8liked the taste. Me and my colleague really enjoyed our evening. The server made sure of it. She was excellent!
The food was delicious. Matt recommended the salmon and we were glad he did. We will definitely dine here again the next time we're in Athens.

Management needs training in customer services! My husband and I visited this restaurant today and when we walked in, the manager and hostess never turned to acknowledge us! They proceeded with their conversation!!!! Finally, we were escorted to a table?! After eating lunch, the manager came to the table, got a dirty dish and didn’t say ONE WORD!!! He just walked off!!! My husband and I finished eating, left a 20% tip ( because the waitress was nice and did a good job) and heading towards the exit door. The manager, once again, was standing talking to the same hostess and another staff but NO ONE said “ Thank You” or “ Hope everything was good.” We did not feel welcome and WE WILL NOT BE BACK! I work hard for my money and I will take my funds elsewhere! Terrible customer services and I hope others will leave reviews about HillTop management!!!!! I guarantee that we are not the first and we will not be the last customers treated this way????!!
