I have eaten here two times now. The service was great. I did not feel rushed and was able to enjoy my meal. The restaurant was not crowded when I went, and the food was delicious. The Turkish egg plant bowl was very tasty, although I was a little nervous about mint in the listed ingredients. (I included a photo of it with my review.) The Persian egg plant bowl was very nice, but the subtle differences in the two dishes led me to enjoy the flavors of the Turkish one more. The lamb shank was very good. The stuffed burger and onion rings were very flavorful, but that burger option was a little messy for people who do not like juicy, messy foods.I had never thought about adding saffron to ice cream, but I tried the Persian Saffron Ice Cream, and it was delicious! I opted for the "to go" ice cream option since I knew I could not possibly finish everything. They offer a Persian saffron ice cream float in carrot juice. I plan to try it in the near future as I can tell that the ice cream flavor should pair well with carrot juice. It is definitely not hard to imagine after tasting the ice cream.I look forward to enjoying many meals at this restaurant and trying many dishes I have never tasted before. Kudos!!Vegetarian options: A wide variety of vegetarian options are available.Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible by wheelchair.

This food was absolutely delicious! Bursting (no exaggeration) with flavor. The chicken and steak on this dish were so tender and full of flavor it was hard to stop eating it. But you get a very nice portion of food and I could not eat it all. I am a rice lover and this rice is so fluffy and well prepared. I love the mixture of the white rice with the buttered rice. It gave a great taste. I appreciated the attendance of the server at the bar. She was friendly and stayed visible to us all. My first visit was a great one.

The kabab is pretty unique , well marinated and seasoned , I really liked the baklava cheesecake it's special though wished the baklava was a little more crunchy, the Persian eggplant was good but felt it was more of a stew than a dip and liked it better with rice than pita , but still it's good and eggplant well smoked , overall I highly recommend it .

The BEST persian food in athens!!! The tea is so good and the food is great. I got the Koobideh Burger and it was amazing and it came with so many fries. The baklava is the BEST 10/10.

Wonderful Evening listening to the Live Band. Such an amazing experience for me. I would love to see this place expand the seating more so that when it rains there will be room enough to hold the activities fully indoors. Stuffed Mushrooms yum yum!!!! All ages welcome. Mr MO is the owner, such a great establishment in the community

We LOVE IGB for their delicious Persian food, welcoming atmosphere, and excellent service. They consistently serve some of the best prepared and most flavorful food in town, from the shallot yogurt appetizer to the lamb shank to the various kebobs, everything is always delicious and on point. The owner is incredibly friendly and the menu has something for everyone. Don't miss this great place to share a meal.

Decided to try IGB tonight, and will definitely be back. The owner was very kind and prompt with service. I ordered the cucumber yogurt app, and the Lamb Koobideh kabob, which was excellent and tender. The painkiller cocktail was good, and for dessert I chose to try the saffron rice pudding, very good. If you're looking for a diverse place in Athens, give this place a try!

I am a massive fan of Persian food. When I heard about this place and read the reviews, I was SO EXCITED to check it out......and so disappointed by everything. I don't know if they had a tremendously off night tonight or what, but the food was just not good. The dolmeh (pictured) were inedible, the pita was clearly not fresh, and the ribeye kabob was like eating an extremely chewy, badly seasoned boot. The one saving grace of this meal was the chicken, which was juicy and cooked to perfection. The only reason it gets two stars is because of the chicken. I had hopes that this place could replace my beloved Rumi's, but alas. :(

We only planned to eat dessert and watch live music but I wish we would have eaten dinner there too! We had the Bakhlava Cheesecake and coffee; both were delicious! We will certainly be back soon for dinner. And the staff are very friendly!

International Grill & Bar’s lamb rack is a must-try! It’s savory, tender, and is worth every cent! It comes with a salad and rice.
