Just went here and it was just below standard… the esquite was wildly over salted and the corn was pale. I didn’t come with high expectations but yikes. Service wasn’t bad but the store itself definitely had an odor, plus they 100% over charged for the corn… I have NEVER struggled to finish two large cups of esquite before, and I had to throw it away within the first 5 bites I was so disappointed.

Bad customer service the ladies at the counter were very rude. One kept rolling her yes when we would order like she didn’t even want to be there. The cheese for the nachos was cold. When asking bc for napkins she just tossed them into n the counter and walked away. Get better employees

First time going, they have no variety of agua frescas. And when we asked if we could sample/try she said they had no cups. So we asked if she could give us in regular cup, I kid you not it was like 7 drops to best describe the amount. It wasn’t enough for a taste. Stingy as hell and not worth the trip. Never had an experience like this before in a Mexican Ice cream establishment!!!! Don’t waste your money here!!!!

No every time I go they never have what is on the menu and the staff is not friendly at all, for example today they didn’t have chicharrón, do I asked for dorilocos andthey didn’t put cueritos on it. The girl gave me a attitude and so I just left with what I had instead of telling her it needed cueritos.

I only have it a one start because it wouldn’t allow to not give them a star at all. Please smells bad, tables and place not cleaned. They never have anything that’s placed on their menus. Need more friendly workers.
I would always come out here to get my "antojitos", but this last visit was a very bad experience. I understand they are short handed but the girls giving attitude does not help the situation, the aguas frescas looked and tasted expired and they got my order wrong.

This place is a hidden gem in Athens. I take the kids here, and myself, for ice cream but they have so much more. Elote, mangomacha, and even nachos. We love this place and the price is an added bonus.

Response to owner: I made an $18 purchase. I was refunded the value of the mangoneada.($10+) and received an unpleasant look.Please review your cameras. It is absolutely necessary to find out why there would be an actual metal screw in the ice cream. ????????I would have to say....1st time trying a Mangoneada. And not even half way down the ice cream. I found an actual screw in the cup ????. Worst 1st experience ever!!

I have only been here multiple times because the ice cream is worth it for sure, but I think it goes downhill from there.You can tell they never clean the tables and the chairs because they are always sticky, and that isn’t reflecting well on the management in my opinion.The girls there always seem stressed and overworked, and I understand every business has their bad days, but this has happened a lot.I personally wouldn’t recommend this place. If you want ice cream, go to the place in Gainesville or the Dairy Queen that’s close by.
