No management at all. Waited for 1 hr for a table while 8 tables sat dirty - never cleaned off. No wait staff. Hostess could not make any decisions. All 24 of us left while many other still are waiting there. Finished our lunch at restaurant next door and people ahead of us at MM are still sitting there!!

This is as my first time at a mellow mushroom but I’ve always heard good things about them. I chose to celebrate my 40th here with family. Aside from parking, I was very pleased with my experience. The food is fairly priced and they even have vegan options. As a new vegan, for health, I picker here because of the miss mushroom pizza on the menu. It was way better than I expected. The bartender was super sweet and attentive while we were waiting for our party. Our server was also beyond sweet, kind and attentive. They didn’t even come at us when we family brought in my birthday cake or my boyfriend gave me his gift which was a small cake when you opened paper butterflies popped out everywhere! And we were a bit much rewinding then up and having the paper butterfly’s fly in the restaurant, sorry about that! Mix a celebration, alcohol and flying toys, you’re asking for trouble. I even thanked our server by giving her one and I feel horrible I don’t remember her name. Thank you for making my 40th memorable. We will be coming out here again.

Enjoyed the tasty pizza here at Mello Mushrooms. A lot of menu choices, even gluten free and plant based pizzas which is a plus for me. The service was great, attentive & accommodating. We came here on a Monday for lunch so it wasn't very crowded. The restaurant is quite large, however, the bathroom was closed off due to construction. Ordered the House Special, Holy Shiitake and 1 topping pizza with cheese and pepperoni. Pizzas were flavorful and delicious. I ordered the chicken sandwich as a quick and early dinner and I was a bit disappointed. They were out of the wheat bread so I subbed it for white bread which was big deal. But I was saddened to see that the presentation was not very dynamic. My meal was cold and the tots were a bit overcooked.I was a bit surprised because at 5pm on a Monday the place wasn’t very busy. But despite the few people that were present, it took a bit to get seated. My server was sweet and kind, but her kindness didn’t make up for the length of time between making my meal and getting it to me.If I come back, I’ll stick to pizza here!Parking: In the downtown area so parking is limited.

There were plenty of vacant tables but several large parties ahead of us (when we arrived we were #5 waiting on tables. There was a party of 20 and another party of 8 ahead of us). When asking the hostess if we could have an empty table for 5, we were told no. She explained due to the large parties they were trying to not over work the kitchen. I understand that, but we were still ordering while sitting at the bar so we was confused why we were denied a table. Still good food and service - just not allowed to sit at a table..

My party of 6-7 came in for a later lunch/early dinner today and experienced the absolute worst service. I understand that sometimes things get stressful in the restaurant business, but it does not excuse not checking on our table for 45 minutes, not updating us that our food would be taking longer than expected (ended up taking us about an hour to get our single appetizer when the table next to us was waited upon hand and foot by our server), all of our water glasses were left empty and we had to flag down another server to even find ours to ask for refills, not getting our food to us until 1 hr and 45 minutes after we initially placed the order, and so much more. When we asked to speak to the manager to ask them about why our food was taking so long (which we wouldn’t have even done if our server had just stopped by and said “hey, the kitchen is a little backed up and I’m sorry about the wait!”), our server came instead and interrogated us about why we were asking for the manager and wouldn’t get the manager until we gave him the reason we wanted to talk to whoever was managing the restaurant at the time. Usually we have an okay experience at this restaurant, but this past trip was extremely frustrating and unprofessional. In the 2+ hours we were stuck there, our server only came to us 3 or 4 times. Even just stopping by and giving a quick update or asking us if everything was okay would have been nice.

Cannot recommend. I waited about 40 minutes for a pizza, there were about 20 other patrons in the restaurant. My pizza came out with raw dough in the center. I requested to have it cooked more so the server sent it back to the kitchen. 20 minutes later it came back still completely raw in the center. I requested to have it cooked more. The server said she had no idea why the pizza was undercooked and that she knew nothing about pizza and nothing about cooking pizza. The pizza went back to the kitchen a 3rd time. Shortly after, the server came out and said the kitchen was completely remaking my pizza. After 90+ minutes and three attempts, I finally had a fully cooked pizza. The server apologized and repeated that she had no idea how this could happen and she did not charge me for this pizza. Very disappointed in the quality of food coming out of this kitchen. I will absolutely never be back.

Went there for the trivia night & the questions were great but it was absolutely impossible to hear the announcer properly :( a bunch of the servers and staff were playing & it was super cute and fun when they won a round of shots!The spinach artichoke dip was DELICIOUS especially with the garlic bread! We ordered 2 small pizzas- the house special & the loaded potato- which were both good. Definitely thought the dip was better tho!
