I'm in love. This is what an Italian restaurant is supposed to taste like... Grazie Peppino's!First experience (see above) was amazing, but my second was one of the worst sandwiches I've ever had. There was almost no toppings, the meat was was over cooked and dry. There was almost no cheese on a cheesesteak. They cut the bread in such a way that my entire meal experience was bread (see photo). It was awful. We dropped over $40 on two sandwiches and one desert and I couldn't be less satisfied.On the service side they told me the order would take 30 to 35 minutes and when I got there inside 25 minutes the order was already waiting... by the time I got it home, eight minutes away, everything was luke warm to cold.My first experience was incredible, but to fall so far in nearly every category on my second order makes me unlikely to order from them again.Here's the thing ... The first visit was so good we decided on a third and this time we tried the pizza, and it was awesome. Five stars. So, I've decided to rate a total of five visits on the road back to five stars. In order to return my review back to five stars they have to score four stars or better on each return. Peppino's is back up to three stars. Great Pizza.

Ya'll go there!!! It's a hidden gem in the countryside of Athens, Ga. The veggie pizza I had was so delicious! I will be back with my daughter and Grandson soon. Thank you all for preparing my pizza on Thursday Feb 29th. Beautiful, simply beautiful. If pizza were a song, Peppino's is an orchestra. Pizza by the slice, sandwiches, pasta, all the good stuff. A little out of the way, but well worth the drive!

Food is fresh, delicious, and cooked to order.Parking: Safe, clean, and spacious parking. I went during the night-time, but the landscape is beautiful and well lit.Kid-friendliness: It's a very family oriented restaurantWheelchair accessibility: Wide sidewalk so wheelchairs are more than capable of access to the premises. Wide door entrance as well. Restaurant tables are spaced out enough for ease of movement for persons with disabilities

Well Athenians, I can't believe what I just encountered. I just witness the meltdown of the owner. A customer inquiring about the price of a pizza with various toppings, was apparently too much for the owner. The owner ( everyone knows the older gentleman), went completely off. I felt sorry for the young man. The owner berated him, told him to go to Pappa John, or Domino's. This because he inquired about price?There is a reason why they are always looking to hire. I also witness this same behavior with his wife. This was the final straw for me. To the owners if you no longer appreciate our business, then please leave. No one should have to witness you berating all ethic and cultural racial groups ( No race was spared). We all deserve better, no matter the race. If you no longer appreciate our business, then leave !!Let the door hit you where the good Lord split you ?. I will no longer patronize this business, unless I see a sign under new management.

I hate to give this place a 3 on the food. Its always so good. But ... way to many onions and a lack of meat in my Stromboli . Service is always great.. maybe just a bad day... it was Chistmas Eve...I will go back.
