My hubs ate here with colleagues and said it was amazing. Everything he had was so flavorful and cooked very well. Hidden gem! He does not write yelp reviews but this is how we keep track of our favorites, and wants to bring me when we are back in town.

My family of four including myself had reservations Saturday night at the Savannah Room. Each of us had a different entree with the brussel sprouts and fried green beans as appetizers. The meal was wonderful. My daughter and her husband just returned from their honeymoon abroad and both commented this was the best meal they have had in a month even though they honeymooned on the French Riveria and in NICE. Aiden our server and Manager Mike were attentive and made our experience that much special. Way to go Savannah Room!

Amazing restaurant, amazing food, outstanding service! The she crab soup is always amazing, steak frites and salmon with risotto are two of my favorite entrees. Great prices! You won't be disappointed!

My first visit to The Savannah Room. It won't be my last. Food was excellent, service was great, it was Athens Restaurant week, so prices were great. Nice calming background music playing. The Steak Frites (skirt steak) was cooked perfectly, sliced, lots of flavor. My appetizer, Brussel sprouts, were sweetened with Balsamic glaze, cooked crispy, mixed with pecans, and pomegranate seeds on top. Definitely enough for several people to share. I am going again tomorrow and try something else. This gem is going on my list of regular restaurants.

We always like the Savannah Room. It is generally pretty quiet and the food is good.

Terrible!!! Went for Easter Brunch. Trying to think of anything positive; tea and mimosa was good. Food would be below average cafeteria grade. Very disappointing after seeing good reviews on-line. Cakes were cold. Roast beef tasted like it came from a can. Very limited salad bar.

Food is awful, it's like eating in a cafeteria. Too expensive for what you get in the buffet. Very disappointing for Easter Brunch.

This is the restaurant in the Georgia Hotel and Conference Center. It is really great. Delicious food and good service by students. Overall great experience.

It’s easy to forget about the not-downtown restaurants in Athens, but my meal here was as good as anything I’ve had in town. The service (all students) was impeccable and prices are surprisingly reasonable. I had the crispy Brussels sprouts and the salmon entree with Gouda risotto, peas, and mushrooms. Everything was SO delicious and served beautifully. You don’t need to be a guest in the Georgia Center hotel to check this place out!
The food here is really excellent for a hotel. Big portions, reasonably priced, and tasty. Definitely worth a try even if not staying at the hotel

Great hidden gem on the UGA campus. Located within the on-campus hotel, great food and perfect place to eat before a basketball game and then walk over to the Steg.

This is a true five star restaurant, grilled salmon with olive tapenade ? The sides were delicious and cooked perfectly too! Coffee was exceptional as well.

We walked in LATE… 15 minutes to closing. The staff was so gracious and welcoming. They thanked us for coming in as it had been a “slow day”. We’re from New England and you do NOT walk into a restaurant 15 minutes before closing. The food was awesome and the service was beyond fantastic. Really happy with the entire experience.
