Came here with my wife and we had an excellent time, the oysters were fresh and the food was so good, I got the salmon pesto pasta and she got the scallops and it was definitely worth the money. Our server Lily was knowledgeable of the menu and made sure my wife and I had a great anniversary, we will be back soon.

Definitely not worth the money. I believe it is under new ownership now. Management was sitting at bar drinking miller light the whole time we were there. Cooks made something that made a lot of people’s eyes burn like crazy. Not a good experience under the new people. Probably will not return. Food was smaller portions and quality was so so for he price.

Cesar Salad was disgusting Roman lettuce was wilted and gross the Hu’s puppies were so over done burnt to a crisp I wish I could add photos quality food control lacking,,, The lettuce would’ve caused food poisoning if I had eaten it… And the grease from the hush puppies floated on the plate nothing was fresh and it was totally disgusting. I do not recommend this place for any endeavor.

Came in at 7:48 Promptly seatedNever had waiter or waitress check on us . Waited on the 3 tables around us by 3 different people. Finally at 8:10 we left.Spoke to host/ Manager seemed to have no care in the world. Seems as though ownership has changed not 100%Always enjoyed this place all other times.They will get one more chanceActually found out ownership changed. It is now owned by same people or group that owns fully loaded. Makes sense why service is poor.

My Moroccan wife loved the Oysters. Happy wife, happy life! The Expresso Martinis were fine! The 99cent Oysters were a deal, but still ended up spending over 100 dollars.

Came in with my girlfriend. Got two dozen oysters and snapper gumbo. Both were delicious! But what really put it over the top was the service. Cameron was extremely knowledgeable and always on top of everything. When I come back I will ask for him!
Simply delicious!! My girlfriend and I came here for the first time to try their happy hour oysters, and they did not disappoint. Super fresh, top tier oysters, even for their $1 happy hour special! The bartender who served us, Lily, was super friendly and accommodating. Great vibes, great service, great food!!!

They recently changed the menu so our favorite was not available. Had an outstanding server. Food was a disappointment. It was not crowded but still loud background noise. My fault I did not wear hearing aids but was difficult to talk with our guest. Shrimp and grits was so spicy hot I could not eat it (I Iike spicy foods). They did redo it to their credit. Thank you. Wife's entree had overcooked asparagus; soft and mussy like canned. Oysters were good but expensive. Wines were good as were the suggestions from our server. Wife grew up on the coast so knows good seafood. This was so so for the entree prices. With the new menu and cooks we do not plan to return.

We have wanted to try Square One for a long time. Not disappointed! It was especially nice to have a knowledgeable server. A great menu of not so common to this area seafood. Fresh Anchovies ! Whole flounder , Sheepshead, Coldwater oysters . We started with Oysters on the half shell ,and hush puppies . Mel had the grilled Mahi , I had fresh Sheepshead. Both were wonderful ! Finished with apple pie and vanilla ice cream . Mel is already planning the next trip!
