We had the brisket, Memphis pork, and fried chicken, and all were . Pork had such a great deep smoke flavor and chicken was perfectly breaded and freshly fried. The small menu here is spot on and the fast casual environment made for a perfect quick bite. Definitely on the list of must go to spots in Athens. must try

Wonderful tacos and chips with 3 kinds of salsa!!! All my choices were very flavorful,and the fillings nicely balanced the main ingredients. Can't beat the price. Enjoyed the nut crusted shrimp especially and the jalapeno coleslaw, nice from usual fair. Miss hot sauces available. Wait until covid is over to visit as I felt guilty with so so much paper, plastic and foil being used. Also 55 degrees out today and no heaters were turned on even though I mentioned the cold. Definitely give this place a try.

This restaurant has great atmosphere & great food!! The menu left me a little baffled on my first visit, many years ago, wonder what to try. Over the years, I tried almost everything and have Rarely ever been disappointed. These people know how to create some Of the most Wonderful weekly specials. The mainstays on the menu everyday are wonderful also. Usually is always our Friday night go-to but often avoid it due to the extensive line ( due to popularity). Advise going right at 5 pm (when they open for the evening) if you don't want to stand in line. Worth the wait- great margaritas too ( although they could definitely use a little less ice)

The cashier was horribly rude and so was another white guy. They harassed customers about masks - except for people who appeared to be their friends - they said nothing about their masks - and were super rude to several folks. It's been 10 years since I was here. Looks like NEVER is the next time I'll be back. Food was decent but customer service was H O R R I B L E especially the white girl with red-dyed hair. A mediocre taco cannot save VERY POOR customer service.

Ordered pickup and was super excited about the "blue plate special" tonight was shrimp and grits. My husband brought it home and I opened up the lid to my take out dinner plate and it reeked. I've never smelled shrimp that smelled like that and the grits were dry. Still I tried it because I've always had a great experience there and their food has always been great. I took my first bite and honestly felt like I was eating rotten shrimp. I made my husband try it as well to make sure it wasn't just my taste buds. He wanted to spit it out immediately. The smell was so bad he made me put the lid back on it and throw it out. I didn't want to post this review but we called several times to let them know and they didn't answer. My husbands food was great. Maybe just stay clear of the shrimp and grits?

This place has the most disrespectful staff I have ever witnessed. Girl behind me in line forgot her mask and politely asked to buy one. The manager sold her a mask and proceeded to scold her publicly. Embarrassing. Saw a rat running around in the kitchen as well. WILL NOT COME BACK. Manager is an idiot who thinks he's Gordan Ramsey running Hells Kitchen. Yelling at everyone. I feel bad for his family members, definitely mean to them.

Most overrated restaurant in Athens. Staff is always rude. They make you feel guilty for even placing an order with them. They're open from 5:00-8:30, but try to close at 8:00 every night and make you feel bad for having the audacity to make them have to sweep around you during their business hours. None of it is very surprising though, considering how much of an a****** the guy that manages this place is. I bet he'll see this and proceed to get angry drunk tonight.
