La Pa off Jefferson Road is my favorite Mexican place. I’ve been a customer since they started in the other space (more than 20 years ago). Their cheese dip is unmatched. The food is consistent, served quickly, and the staff are always friendly. Our family goes there a lot - we know many of the staff by name and it’s a place that feels like more like hanging out with family & friends.

Fast father service is amazing. I totally enjoy fresh fish tacos,chips,salsa,cheese dip. So if you're looking for something that has a welcome atmosphere. Taqueria is the best place.

Visited with a large group. Amazing food and atmosphere. The shrimp quesadilla was probably the best quesadilla I've ever had. Best part of the night was the service! Our server was incredibly gracious and efficient — she made the experience absolutely amazing. Would absolutely recommend a visit!

Worste service in the world!!!!! Started with drinks, & apparently we did not order food fast enough? And were asked to leave after a cook? Or someone we never saw the whole hour, yes 1 hour!!!! That we were there? Only to have the same person sit behind us to intimidate us into leaving???? The bartender was awesome!!!! Only to have a want to be cook! Come pressure us??? That's not how business is done in America!!!!! & This establishment along with the others will feel my disrespect now! Just as your establishment has disrespected me! A city of Athens employee??? Good luck!!! & Happy holidays!!!!

We don’t live too far from here and it’s not only convenient but it’s so delicious! It’s so good every time! We mainly get take out more so now than we do going out but going here is always nice! The cheese dip is always great and so are the quesadillas! My hubby gets pollo loco Texas sometimes and he loves it!! The margaritas are also great here too! The atmosphere is always nice! Depending on the day and time you go depend on how busy it gets but that’s with any restaurant. They also have vegetarian options too for those vegetarians out there!
