Please stop serving uncooked rice to unsuspecting humans. On Easter Sunday, my family and I were utterly dismayed to be served raw rice at this place. As Asians, we are accustomed to perfectly cooked rice. To be honest, we did not expect a perfectly cooked plate of rice at this place. We did expect it to be edible. What we were served was beyond belief. The rice was barely soaked and completely raw. You could literally hear rice grains tinkling against your ceramic plate. If this is a one-time occurrence, then it is totally understandable. However, if you regularly serve raw rice to customers, I suggest removing rice bowls from the menu entirely. It is disappointing for people like me who love rice. Unsuspecting hungry human should not be served raw rice. It is morally un-rice(unright).

Their welcoming team was excellent. After a terrible experience at the restaurant next door we went here with 12 girl volleyball team and 14 parents. Even though we had no reservations they expedited clearing some tables and set all of us up for lunch in 10 minutes.Food was very good and great drinks for the parents. We all had a great experience. The servers did very good job handling such a large group and gave us all separate checks.

I think $4.50 for 3 bits of chicken is too expensive. I couldn't get what I wanted.

My wife and I had lunch here and it was fantastic. The service was fast and attentive. The food was terrific. We had BBQ short rib empanadas--crispy not greasy at all and the sauces with them were very good, spicy but not hot. I had the tuna poke bowl--lots of food, all nice and fresh with a tasty seasoned soy sauce. Also, the prices were extremely reasonable for what we got.

Great food and customer service. Really enjoyed my steak tacos and the price is reasonable for the level of service you get from Taqueria Tsunami in Athens.

The shrimp tempura tacos were fantastic--the shrimp were perfectly cooked with flavorful filling. The sopapilla were also really tasty. The Korean carnitas taco was good. The rich man's taco and asada zing were just okay. The steak in them was overcooked and tough. Cilantro avocado egg rolls were bland. Overall, this restaurant was hit or miss, but I know that to order when I go back.

Had dinner here to celebrate a friend and the Mexican/asian fusion was defiantly an interesting concept. Ordered a dragon fruit mojito and didn’t get much of a mint flavor. I was also a bit disappointed with the rich bowl. The portion was okay, but the flavor and presentation was a bit off.I did enjoy the dessert egg roll.We also had a great server that was attentive and the atmosphere was nice.Parking: It’s downtown so be prepared for metered parking.

The food is very good. I gave the food a 4 star because I ordered a tempura shrimp taco, and it only had 2 pieces of shrimp. The 2 pieces I had were very good, just not enough for serving size and for the money. The short rib nachos on wonton, superb! It's my daughter's favorite and never disappoints. The service was great; fast and efficient. Will definitely return.

I love stopping in for lunch when I am in town, this visit was outstanding. I have a food allergy, the manager and staff went through what I ordered and made sure I was safe to enjoy my lunch. Moreover, the manager made a recommendation to me that helped me to avoid a certain item. This is unheard of as I dine out often, no manager has ever been so thorough. You made my day making me feel like I was a priority. The Mahi tacos are my absolute favorite and I will be back! :)

There are alot of different meat/ fish options here which is really nice. The yucca fries were so good, they had a perfect crispy outside and soft center.

Had a great experience here. Was there around 5PM, the 3 of us got right in. The staff was very friendly, professional, and speedy. They have numerous tvs throughout on different sports stations, so you have something to watch as well.

The Avocado Cilantro Egg rolls were really good as well as the yuca. I also ordered the Chicken Enchilada Bowl and while it was good for the most part, it was pretty basic. I really dont know what made this a fusion of Latin and Asian other than the white rice and siracha mayo. Chipotle taste better if I just wanted a chicken bowl with white rice. The service was great though and the atmosphere was quiet but its likely becasue the restaurant was not busy for a Friday night. I wont likely go again.

Service was slow and the food was not hot. Had a great experience at Oconee Connector location. Downtown location was mid.

Korean steak tacos were so good, definitely recommend. Our server was sweet. The salsa wasn't very flavorful but everything else was really good.

This is a must when we visit Athens. We love the avocado egg rolls, the Baja tacos, carnitas tacos and the Asian asada tacos!
