I'm part of a band coming through Athens for the first time, and we reached out to The Foundry to book a night for a show. I was put in touch with Macy and her team, and they were prompt in their communication and incredibly helpful! Their sound guy was incredibly thorough ahead of time. It was all much appreciated. :)

Are you looking for a profitable investment you can start with a little amount and earn a reasonable profit within a short period of time?.

We chose to stay at the Graduate Athens due to the fact that the website specified, "We’ll charm you with Southern fare and live music at The Foundry." When we arrived at the hotel, we found out that the Foundry has not been open for quite some time except for occasional private events. Super disappointing and misleading. The Foundry website should specify that it is not open for hotel guests or the general public.

The Foundry is recognized as the premier event venue in Athens, Georgia, especially after University of Georgia football games at nearby Sanford Stadium. Located at 295 East Dougherty Street, on the first floor and mezzanine levels in a vintage building on the property of the Graduate Athens Hotel, the bar and grill is open from 7 a.m. to midnight daily for dining and dancing. The 2,600-square-foot ballroom can accommodate 250 people. Live music keeps everybody entertained. My wife and I were staying at the Graduate Athens and stopped by The Foundry for lunch. We started with a charcuterie board featuring a house selection of cured meats and cheeses, pickles, crackers, dijon and fig jam. For a main course, my wife chose fish and chips, beer-battered cod with house-made tartar sauce, fries, lemon and parsley. I was persuaded to sample the smoked Rock House Farms brisket sandwich with Georgia BBQ sauce and creamy slaw on a locally baked brioche bun with fries. Wash it all down with a root beer float. For dessert, we indulged in Kiki's pecan pie with two scoops of vanilla ice cream.

Rare historic venue with great vibe in Athens. The Swingin' Medallions usually play there at least once a year in January when UGA students are not in school. The place was sold out nonetheless the two times I was there to see and hear the Medallions. Great staff as well.

Menu has improved since the last time I ate there. Had a Beef Brisket sandwich and fries. Very tasty sandwich -meat was tender. Great place to see live music. Sound is great!

unique surroundings. good performances. however, it was cold as hell in there and never warmed up. I think they turned their heat on too late and it took too long to heat up that large space. I spent the last two sets sitting in the car with the heat on.

This is a very old warehouse converted to take on a Music view. It provides a setting perfect to enjoy musical artist.

Never been here. Here on business. Restaurant right here where Graduate is so no driving. Hamburger was worst I ever had. My friend also got one. He asked me if it tasted funny. I said like fish. He said, yeah, fish. McD quarter pounder would have been 10 times better at 1/3 the price.

I have never eaten here so my review is on the venue and the bar. We have been to many concerts here over the years. It is a good place to listen to music and enjoy the show because you are close to the stage. The Foundry does a good job of bringing in both original musicians or tribute bands. Another good thing is the show prices are usually around $10-$15 per person so a show is not too expensive. The bar does a good job of taking drink orders and getting them in your hand quickly. The bar can sometimes be four or five people deep but you move quickly and be back and listening to the music. We also enjoy that it is easy to catch an Uber in front of the venue.
