The food and service were amazing. Our waitress was so kind and helpful. I love that I was able to chat with someone to confirm the waiting time.

Our favorite restaurant in Athens, by far! Service and food have always been top notch. I love that the owner mingles with the patrons. It is quaint and has a wonderful vibe. We love having a variety of things to try that comes with a tapas menu. The pimento cheese crostini are my favorite, with the okra and sliders a close second - simply delicious. The restaurant has a bar downstairs with a more casual atmosphere. My husband and I would love to eat here more often if parking weren't such a challenge, but that's part of being in such a charming and popular area of town!

The hostesses are insanely disrespectful and unwilling to help here. They seemed as though they would rather have an empty restaurant to do less work. I have been here multiple times as a walk in, but making reservations or walking in at a popular hour leads to the most unwelcoming party ever. Otherwise, this place is great.

Our first time here. Food was delish, happy hour $15 bottle of sav blanc delish, server, Holly, was fantastic! Will def be back and bring others. I forget what it's called, but the shrimp with ham and peppers was a standout.

Service is terrible. They are under staffed with incapable workers. They asked us to wait for one hour for a party of two. We did…. When we asked about at table they told us another hour with no consideration of our attempt to patron their restaurant. They told us the bar was available with two open seats. We attempted to sit there only to be told the seats were reserved. This is run like a dive bar. Won’t be back!

This is a great place for Tapas and drinks. I also loved the firepit oven and watching them bake the Focaccia bread right in front of us, old school style.

The Pine is a great spot for date night. We made reservations for a Friday night and had a great seat. Our waitress was super sweet and gave some good food and drink recommendations. We tried six of the tapas dishes but our favorites were the focaccia, pimento cheese crostini, and dates. The brick oven in the kitchen have the space a cool vibe.

Service was great - our table wasn't ready on time but they were kind enough to give us some doughnuts on the house once we were seated! Ambiance was very casual/chill/relaxed. I got the quiche with a side of pimento grits. The grits were great - warm, the right amount of cheesy. However I would really recommend AGAInst the quiche - it was room temperature, very firm and dry (as opposed to soft, fresh, n eggy), and I had to force myself to finish it because I was hungry. I do think everyone I was with enjoyed whatever they got so I think anything other than the quiche is a safe choice :)

Let me first say this, why hadn't I been to The Pine earlier? This restaurant is soooo good and in a perfect location, Five Points! Pine Bar is a small restaurant that has a variety of wines, mixed drinks and tapas. There are 2 outdoor patios, one covered and one uncovered and in an inside too. They take reservations as well, but we came around 6pm on a Wednesday and they weren't too busy. By 6:30pm, it started to pick up though! We came specifically for the happy hour. Which is 5-7pm and they $15 bottled wines and $1 off raw oysters. We were promptly seated on the patio when we arrived, given water for us and our pup that had joined us. We started off with drinks and a dozen oysters, let me say these oysters were very good and they give you everything you need to eat with them. I wonder if the saltine crackers are homemade! Next we ordered 3 different tapas: the cauliflower, hummus and slider trio. All were super delicious! Overall my experience at The Pine Bar was spectacular and I'm pretty sure I'll be a regular in the future!

This restaurant is a regular for me. Steak tips, cauliflower, gambas are my go-tos. Consistently excellent and fun staff.

Sat at the bar, good service, food was hot but some was a little salty for my preference. For a tapas restaurant with a couple of people in the group, it would be nice if the kitchen sent out cutlery for sharing dishes, not for every dish but would have been nice to have a knife and serving spoon for sharing.Had several dishes including the cauliflower elote and sliders. Elote was really fantastic, sliders were just ok heavy on salt and overcooked. I expected medium since she did not ask about a temp but they were almost well done, dry and overcooked.I like that you can pick what you want on the charcuterie plate & everything else the group had was decent.
