Stopped here while on a roadtrip and the food was stellar!! My bf is Argentinian and said it was the best empanadas he has ever had. I got the chicken sandwich and it was to die for. Perfect amount of spice for a white person like me lol, but I'm sure they have spicier options! Plus the home made sauces were delish!!!Also the servers were very kind, had great recommendations, and had five food orders out in 10 mins.

Great tasting food. Full of flavors. ! Steak, chicken , empanadas, rice, charro beans, all delicious! Do not leave without trying the cupcakes!! And the coolest young ladies at the counter! Big smiles, friendly and very helpful

The kindest, most helpful 3 people were working tonight. The head bartender/wait staff person was so knowledgeable and informed about the menu and drink selection. All of the food was just as delicious as i remembered from before the pandemic & the atmosphere was quaint and great music. Perfect for our casual moms night out dinner & wine night! Don’t skip dessert - gabby’s Cupcakes slap. The black bean empanada and butternut squash soup are my favorite and have been for a decade

This is hands down our favorite place to eat in Athens. We take everyone who visits us here, and they love it as well. The food is amazing, the prices very reasonable for the quality of food that you get. You must, must have a cupcake for dessert, I recommend the mini ones.

The soups were delicious! We also tried 3 different empanadas, which were fresh, hot and tasty. Good vegetarian options. Great choice of beers, too.Vegetarian options: Good vegetarian choices for soup, empanadas, and main course.

Viva Salad with chimichurri Ranch.Black bean empanadas with cilantro sour cream, Samosa empanada with cilantro sour cream. Lomo con Papa Fritas, we did beef on fries.Wish the papa fritas has a bit more gravy but the food was out of this world good!

Great food and fast service! Friendly staff. Prices are reasonable too. The cupcakes and empanadas are the star of the show but the sandwiches and soups are the trade secrets. You won’t be disappointed with anything from here!

I have eaten here for multiple years and it never fails to impress. The Chef is excellent, the food is fresh and very flavorful. Don't forget to also sample their huge cupcake selection as well!!

Great place to try some different cuisine. This Argentine restaurant specialty is empanadas (meat and very filled pastries) as well as beef and cheese sandwiches and Argentine Shepard’s pie. The soups, dipp’n juices and cupcake are spectacular. There is something for every taste. Service were great, not familiar with the dishes the people behind the order counter went through our tastes and recommended items. We had empanadas and cups of soup and cupcakes for desert. Very nice inside, parking could be an issue but can be found within a block or two.

I stopped in for a quick bite tonight and had the mashed potato and collard greens bowl, it was so delicious I didn't want it to end. The atmosphere promotes the theme of the restaurant and simultaneously pays homage to Athens rich musical history by the artwork on the walls and the musical selections. Very highly recommend this restaurant. This is a masterclass in what a local small restaurant should be.

I have been here twice and I absolutely love it! Today I thought I was going to get another wonderful empanada and soup, but I had to try the vegetarian pastel. All three of us ordered the same thing because it sounded so good, and we all loved it. So tasty and filling. I brought more than half of it home! Service was friendly and helpful. So many things on the menu that sound delicious, I will be back!Vegetarian options: I’m not a vegetarian and not usually interested in the vegetarian options, but the pastel sounded so good, and it was!

Absolutely delicious! The empanadas are perfect for a light lunch and the broccoli and cheese flavor was so creamy and filling! But even better was the seasonal autumn squash soup will DEFINITELY be returning for more! And the chimichurri is fantastic, so light and not spicy at all. The perfect fresh accompaniment to the empanada.

So good! Went for lunch, got back bean soup and 2 empanadas (broccoli & cheese and chicken tinga). Also got a cupcake. We sat at the outdoor patio, which was lovely. The staff was also super helpful with recommendations for empanadas and cupcakes.
