This is normally one of my favorite restaurants. The experience I had with my friend last night at this location was not the best. Took forever to receive drinks (they weren’t that busy when we were there) and they completely forgot to put in the order for my food so my friend ate all her food and I was still waiting on mine to discover the guy that took our order never even put it in. They messed up our checks a few times too we had to have them correct things (double charging). Not sure what was up with location. The food was good but service really a hot mess.

The Tres Leches dessert was super duper delicious, like, seriously amazing. And don't even get me started on the Spiced Chicken Verde Bowl—it was out of this world delicious! Packed with flavorful and healthy veggies, yum rice, and that spicy kick, it was a winner. Oh, and the Pistachio Cauliflower Bowl? Let me tell you, roasted cauliflower placed on a chickpea hummus topped with pistachio chimichurri + fresh pomegranate seeds—it was a flavor explosion! Plus, the service was really nice, and I loved how easy it was to order from the QR code. Overall, a fantastic dining experience—I'll definitely be back for more!

Bar Taco Vinings is an excellent spot for a great lunch. There are great vibes, great food and the service is on point!! Jeremy is amazing!! This place is an all time favorite and you won't be disappointed!!

We called ahead today for a party of 11. From the first phone call to the end of our visit, everything was spot on. All of the staff were friendly and went above and beyond. Normally, bartaco offers ordering through your phone. But since we had a number of kids and tweens with us, they brought out paper menus and spent the time to talk with the first timers on recommendations. The food was also very good. Service was quick with food and cocktails. We never felt rushed. We were allowed the time to visit and enjoy our meal. I've been to bartacos across the country and this location is now my favorite so far with Nashville dropping to second. Kudos to this location and their staff for winning over a pretty tough crew.

This is one of my regular spots. I typically stop in later in the night for a dessert and drinks since most spots in vinings close early. The food, staff, and atmosphere are great. I typically get the rice bowls. Everyone of them I’ve had was great. I’m not a big eater so they’re just the right portion for a late dinner. I really like the ceviche but some days it can be pretty spicy - they use fresh ingredients so the temperature of the peppers can vary. The only reason I didn’t give the food a 5 is because I have really high standards with Mexican food given my mom is Mexican. The food has some Asian fusion type stuff so while it’s not what you typically see in a Mexican restaurant it is still quite good.

I felt compelled to provide feedback after my cousin Veronica recommended this restaurant. Unfortunately, I won't be dining at or ordering from Bar Taco again. I had recently arranged for catering, but upon arrival, the food wasn't ready and didn't meet my expectations in terms of taste. When my boss inquired about the source of the catering and explicitly advised against ordering from here in the future, it became clear that Tacos and Tequilas will be my go-to restaurant from now on. Additionally, I found the staff to be rude, and it seems the manager sets the tone for such behavior.

We have had several bad experiences with this location. We wanted to give it another try this week only to have yet another bad experience. We sat at the bar and checked our orders on the order form. My husband ordered a glass of wine. I ordered a small kale salad, my husband ordered the dip trio, and we both ordered rice bowls, one chicken verde and one duck. The salad and dips came out in a reasonable amount of time. We waited for a good bit, and one of the servers brought us chicken tacos. We told her we did not order them so she walked away. We waited for probably 30 + more minutes for our food. We finally asked about our food, and we were told “ well they tried to bring you the tacos and you told them you didn’t want them.” We told our server that we never ordered tacos, we ordered rice bowls. We never even got so much as an apology from her for the mistake. She just turned around and put in our correct order after she looked at our order form. When we asked how long this was going to take, she said 2 to 3 minutes. It took about 10 minutes and we did get our food. Then, when we were checking out, they charged my husband for a bottle of wine instead of a glass. All of this on top of the time before that when we ordered takeout., and my husband sat for over 40 minutes waiting for a takeout meal after he got there to pick it up. No more, Bartaco. We are DONE with the AWFUL customer service! And what a shame, because we like the food!
