A Tempered Dream

My husband and I attended the pasta 101 class. This class was sold out but, after emailing, I was scheduled in with two tickets! The class was taught by Jennifer and her teaching style and pace mixed with professionalism and charm was refreshing. We learned how to make several types of pasta and were treated to a delectable sampling of the pasta. After the class my husband and I dined. I throughly enjoyed a custom made mocktail and a GF red lentil pasta - which I asked to be paired with the San Marzono sauce and a side of lemon zest. My husband enjoyed his Spaghetti and meatballs. I must give honorable mention to the bread and olive board which was exquisite. Thank you for a wonderful birthday for my husband.Dietary restrictions: The red lentil pasta was absolutely delicious. The owner came to my table to clarify my allergy before the dish was prepared. I made a special request which completely changed the menu item and I was graciously accommodated. Thank you.

Good food alone never brings perfection. Food can be prepared in a standard way from the kitchen. But a caring and stylish waiter who smiles at you can immortalize your meal and the rest of your day..! I'm sorry I couldn't ask his name, but I would like to thank the thin, tall waiter with sparse hair, glasses and white skin..! now my check is come hes name is AM,s

Erin is the most engaging professional bartender I’ve had in years. Good was amazing but the service was exceptional!

Flavorless. Dry. I would not eat here again. We had the Ragu and the carbonara. Both of them just lacked taste. My review is based solely on the food.SN: Once our food came, we never saw our server again so couldn’t get red pepper flakes or grated cheese, salt, pepper, nothing to try to make it better.Never got my water refilled. That was kind of weird that he just never checked on us.

I had the squid ink pasta with octopus. The squid ink pasta tasted normal, however the sauce was good. The octopus had a really good grilled flavor to it. You also get a lot of octopus ratio to pasta. I saw the pappardelle and want to try that the next time.

I came in with two adults and two children. They sat us early which was the best part of the experience. I have been a server for 20 years. I know what decent service looks like. AM, our server, sucked to say the least. I asked for my kids pasta early. It came out last, after I had to flag him down and ask for it. It was dried up and clearly sat in the window for at least 10 minutes. “I’m sorry our kitchen is backed up”. Bull. There were no quality checks. No offers of cheese for the pasta. Nothing. All our food was taken away and I had to ask for the check. When I told him I was unhappy with the service “oh I’m sooo sorry (super sincere) our kitchen is backed up” and ran away. Food was mediocre, no seasoning for the salad and not enough salt for the pasta. But hey, we couldn’t ask for options because no one checked on us.

Lemon panna cotta - i have visited this place for this dessert and this dessert only. It used to be flavourful with the lemon cream standing out and making it special... almost like key lime...! BUT in the recent past the lemon has now taken a back seat. It tastes like a creme brulee.. honestly i can find that anywhere. I hope this review reaches the dessert CHEF and they bring the original magic back !

Had a great date night at Bellina with my partner. It was a Friday night and we were seated quickly and ordered within 10 minutes of being seated. I had the ragú, which was fantastic. Rich flavor, plenty of meat, and seasoned beautifully. The portions here are dinner sized, not small plates, so just the one dish was perfect portioning. My plate itself was a 5/5. My partner ordered the spaghetti and meatballs. He was disappointed as you’d expect several meatballs in an entree portion, or at least a few larger ones. There were only 2 in his entree, and he ended up ordering a side of extra meatballs to supplement it. I had more meat in my ragú than he did in his dish. He rated his meal a 3/5 for the missing meatballs.

This is my second visit, but my first review. It really doesn't matter because the experience has been wonderful both times! The carbonara just doesn't disappoint... EVER!The pasta in general, which is what you should be coming for, is absolutely fantastic! It just has that perfect "chew" to it, the parmesan reggiano is delicious, the peas have the perfect crunch, the ham would be the only "knock" on an otherwise perfect dish, if the dice was a bit more uniform, every bite would be perfect, like the perfect egg yolk which just brings the richness to balance the salt. The server is absolutely amazing. I requested an extremely dry red wine. She went above and beyond and brought a couple of samples, which were both great and made the decision that much harder, but her effort to please didn't go unnoticed, nor appreciated.Thank you for another amazing experience

This used to be my favorite Italian restaurant in the area but they’ve dramatically gone downhill over the past few months. Smaller portions for the same pricing, eliminating the side of bread option, etc. I overlooked all of this because the ragu was still the best I’ve found outside Italy. I ordered it again tonight and it was completely flavorless. Incredibly disappointing.

Got the bucatini carbonara and it was a really good mix of creamy and savory fresh made pasta.Only feedback I had: wish the plates were a little bigger for the price.
