This neighborhood spot is great! Simple classic sandwiches in a homey storefront. Service is always pleasant! I always get the turkey club and recently started grabbing a bag of the rosemary and pepper chips. So good!

This place is amazing! First time visit yesterday. The owners were so nice, the staff were so welcoming and the food was delicious. From sandwiches, to single serve beers and an amazing selection of fresh baked breads. 10 out of 10 highly recommend!

Just noticed this cute Deli right off the park. Great Ruben sandwich and very nice staff! Areas to dine inside and outside, small shop but lots to choose from.

Very cute neighborhood spot walking distance from the zoo. The cashier at the front counter was so sweet but not super knowledgeable about their offerings. I got a bacon egg and cheese…next time I will just go to Waffle House. The bacon was the microwaveable kind I believe and the eggs came from a container. For $12 I expected all the ingredients to be fresh. I will not be back for anything more than a snack or drink on my morning walks

We’ve lived in the neighborhood for years and love Bennett’s! It is the perfect neighborhood joint with the cutest patio since moving near the zoo. The food is always fresh and delicious & the market is stocked with fun goodies. Got a tuna melt & a Reuben today, both delicious and came out quickly! Definitely recommend for a nice fall day if you’re looking for something to do.

I hate to be like this but man.... they were slow when I arrived. Friendly as well. Ordered BLT, another guy comes in and orders something. I get mine in a timely manner. Go to my car to eat it. It's the other guys sandwich, he's long gone so they remake it. Kind of annoying but we are human, they even offered a sweet treat as an apology. All of this is fine and would not even remotely bring me to review them... just give me a good sandwich and I'm on my way...Here's the sandwich.I swear I didn't alter it.There's no bacon! Or a tiny sliver. The other side I ate but it also had an abysmal amount of bacon...This was a $10 sandwich!

Best ? place in town!Honestly, forgot to have a small item left off a sandwich. They made a whole new order @ no extra charge. Wow!Thanks for your kindness ?????

They have a good turkey club, but they are badly managed based on my experience today. I waited for 45m thus far for a turkey club sandwich, while employees are off doing a photo or video shoot. Someone from door dash came in to pick up a customer order, and they didn’t “see” it. I’m still waiting and thinking it may be a long time before I return, which is unfortunate because I live down the street and used to come here a lot. But I don’t have time to wait 45m for a $15 sandwich. They forgot my chips and made the sandwich weird, unlike any of the past ones I’d gotten.

I live next door to this place and really want to like it. The ambiance is nice and the staff is friendly. However, the sandwiches are just decent and don’t have nearly enough meat for the price you pay (around $13). I still find myself hungry after eating a whole sandwich. Not to mention you will usually have to wait 10-15 minutes after ordering for them to make the sandwich. I’ve tried it multiple times now and I think I’ve finally given up hope.
