This review is for Bold Catering, as we did not use their design services. Bold Catering was a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process of planning our wedding reception. Mary Margaret was our main contact - she was incredibly responsive, professional, and helpful as we planned a somewhat unorthodox family style menu. They were also extremely accommodating for guests with food allergies. The food itself was delicious and everything we had hoped for (I got many comments from guests that it was the best wedding food they'd ever had) and the day of service was excellent. I would highly recommend if you are looking to make the food an integral part of your wedding experience.

Great for weddings, bat mitzvah, parties and anything you need as far as events. Wonderful people to work with.

2 stars because the plated dinner at our wedding was great; however, I wholeheartedly recommend going with another caterer because our actual experience working with the team on the day of the event added an unnecessary layer of stress and disorganization. The site coordinator/manager was changed the day before our event, and the woman filling in did not introduce herself to anyone, so we had to actually ask around who was in charge. She was avoidant and didn't want to communicate with our wedding coordinator about the timing of the cocktail hour/dinner service.Furthermore, when I communicated there was an issue with the desserts, she responded with "...take it up with someone else. I don't know anything about what was discussed."I understand that she was just filling in for the night, but her complete unwillingness to communicate with us, and her complete lack of basic professionalism created so much unnecessary frustration during the evening.

Could be a good company but the management has hired employees that don't care and have any passion for food or people. I feel like it's becoming a terrible company to work for.

I worked with them through an app where I have a 4.9 out of 5 rating. However, after working hard for a wedding they blocked me. Petty and being professional do not mix. I canceled a shift but not last minute and I believe that is why.

One of your delivery drivers aggressively honked at me after not knowing where they were going, cutting into my lane, and nearly ramming the side of my car. Train your drivers, especially if they are representing your brand.

Bold Catering was one of the caterer options for our reception venue, and they were amazing! Our highest priority was gluten free options at our event that I knew would be safe to eat, and Bold was able to accommodate with no problem! We even had GF fried chicken! They were quick to respond to my inquiry, and Jaycee was great throughout the entire process to make sure our event ran smoothly. Their tasting process was very nice, and at that point I knew whatever we chose to serve, it would be delicious. The night of the event, we had someone bringing us food and drinks which was so helpful! At the end of the night, Ellis packed up to go boxes for us as well as the top layer of our cake we decided to save. The caterer was the largest chuck of our budget, but it was worth it for the quality of everything as well as the night running so smoothly.

Bold is the best of the best! I have enjoyed their food on several occasions, but their BBQ Sundae is especially scrumptious...I can't stop thinking about it! Their catering team is as professional as they come and they exceeded my expectations in every way.

This review is based on customer service only. I did not use them for my wedding. I contacted Bold Events for floral and decor for my fall 2023 wedding. The initial response was quick and a phone call was arranged. The phone call went well and Suzanne asked many detailed questions about centerpieces and overall decor style. She was very friendly and helpful. She told me on the call she would have a proposal to me "by the middle of next week" which was about 8 days away. I emailed a few days later with an additional item I forgot about, but did not receive a reply. I still hadn't heard back by the date she gave me, so I emailed five days AFTER that deadline. She replied and said she would have it to me by the end of the week. Nothing. I waited more than TWO WEEKS and nothing was sent. I emailed again and got the same short response as the first time: "Thank you for your patience. I am a bit behind schedule but will have your proposal to you by Thursday." I still haven't received anything. Initial contact date: February 20th. Phone call: March 7th. Requested an update or actual proposal/estimate twice since then. It's been over a month and I have not received any information. (The updates I did receive were only because I contacted Suzanne. Seems I was forgotten about completely.) In the meantime, I have contacted 4 other floral and decor vendors, had Zoom/phone calls/emails with all of them and received initial and updated/second proposals. I received each of those proposals in 6 days or less. If you're too busy to even give me information about using you as a vendor, what confidence can I have that things would go smoothly on my wedding day? It seems they don't want my business and other reviews make it sound like communication is severely lacking across the company. Hoping to save someone else this headache. Choose vendors that make you feel like your event is a priority!

Not impressed. They are very very late to follow up on things. A bit unprofessional in the layout of their quotes. The numbers don't always add up. There wine and champagne selection is mediocre and they are not the warmest people to deal with. Everything is rushed, they don't make you feel special and they don't take notes during meetings. I have literally had to tell them something three times and they still don't include what I have asked. Beautiful venue they need caring associates to go with it. The pastry chef is lovely along with the receptionist. I met one of the owners once he had to tell the party planner to offer us some water or something to drink. That I appreciated. But the planner should have been more hospitable.

WOW is all I can say! I booked with bold for my wedding 2 years in advanced and every step was nothing but seamless. We first worked with an employee that is no longer there but got handed off to James. I just wanted to say that James made this whole process amazing! I felt so heard with any concerns I may had or even my vision. The whole team on the day of made my dream come true. They made dinner service so easy and couldn’t be more happier! Everything tasted great and would recommend Bold for any wedding 10000000x over! Thank you so much

Bold design was excruciating to work with. They almost ruined my wedding. The response time was extremely slow and the sales manager Autumn Washington was very rude and unorganized. I also didn’t appreciate how she threw her team under the bus every time she made a mistake. The stress I received from this sales manager almost gave me a panic attack. Save your sanity and book somewhere else !

We were a fellow vendor with Rissa and her team recently and we cannot say enough good things about our experience! Her team was so professional and helpful to us. Rissa went above and beyond to help make sure everything was perfect for the event. We cannot wait to work with Bold in the near future!
