Despite Atlanta's bad reputation among customer service in the popular restaurant industry, C&S Seafood & Oyster Bar - Vinings aka Clark & Schwenk's over this past weekend was superb and the food was fantastic. Omar was our server and even with some minor hiccups, the overall experience was worth it. When you first walk in, they have an array of tables, booths, and a full bar - all showing the Braves game. The lighting is relatively dark where you need to read your menu near the candle or use the light on your phone. Omar explained the full menu and highlighted the features. You are given a bread basket with delicious butter. We didn't get a chance to try out the raw oysters because we weren't hungry enough... LOL--the states that they had to offer looked really good especially the Blue Point oysters. We did order the following: · Espresso Martini - This was not in my Top 5 and it was actually average. Not sure what went wrong but perhaps it was the actual espresso. · C&S Smash - Orange, lemon, basil, club soda, choice of 1792 bourbon, or empress gin. We went with gin. The taste was described as "interesting" but was refreshing. Perhaps mint would have been a better herb. · RC's Chargrilled Oysters [Didn't capture a pic] - Of course not comparable with New Orleans! They were a tad overcooked and not the right amount of parmesan to butter ratio. The flavors were good though. · Jump Lump Crab Cake (1) - All crab, no filler. It tasted fresh, fluffy lump crab, and the grain mustard butter complemented it well. · Sea Bass - Options were grilled, broiled, or blackened. Sauce options were Olive Oil & Caper, Soy & Chili-Garlic, or Lemon-Herb Beurre Blanc. FYI, choose broiled if you want it pan-seared. We chose broiled with Lemon-Herb Beurre Blanc with Creamed Spinach and Whipped Potatoes. They were out of the first choice of Broccolini. The Sea Bass was cooked to perfection with the right amount of flakiness and lightly seared; You can taste the freshness from the sea. The sauce was served on the side and really was not needed but it did elevate the fish when combined with the whipped potatoes. The serving size was plentiful! They mistakenly added Brussels Sprouts but quickly brought out the replacement - Creamed spinach was seasoned well and combined with creamy parmesan. · U-10 Scallops - We chose broiled with the same Beurre-Blanc sauce, Lobster Risotto and Crispy Brussels Sprouts. The scallops were all succulent and seared perfectly. I loved, loved the Crispy Brussels Sprouts which were seasoned well- slightly savory and sweet. The Lobster Risotto had the right amount of lobster bits and it was velvety--could have been cooked a little longer and less white wine. Overall, the dish was still fantastic. Of course, had to end it with dessert... · Sea Salt Caramel [no pic] and Espresso Gelato - No words. It was smooth and derishush. · Crème Brulee - One of my fave desserts. The portion size was significant, had fresh strawberries and blueberries. The right consistency--not too runny and right amount of firmness. The caramelized sugar wasn't too crunchy either. One of my Top 5 crème brulees. · Key Lime Pie [no pic] - The pie to crust ratio wasn't right--too must crust but the crust also had some sort of nut in it..maybe a walnut? So FYI if you're allergic or do not like nuts. The flavors were good and maybe needed an extra tad of key lime element to it. Overall, it was a good dessert. I still would highly recommend C&S and would love to re-visit if we are ever in town again.

I had the pleasure of visiting on Saturday 20th of April 2024 for Birthday Dinner. The ambiance was nice. But the service and the food did not equate the over flatted pricing C&S charged. I was prepared to pay for my guess and myself evening, the food and service was a total let down.. Char grill oysters was flavorless, in which was one of there recommendation ,my main entrée center cut fillet accompanied with a lobster tail and sauté garlic spinach had no flavor. My lobsters over cooked no season nor did it come with some form of clarify butter, my steak cooked properly no flavor no season, tasted absolutely no garlic in my spinach. Needless to say it's not worth a redo or a chance to get it right. I do not recommend this establishment nor do I recommend the teeth cracking dates nut bread that's placed on the table.

Came with a guest and sat at the bar 04/14/2024. The female bartender was very rude and condescending. I'm not sure what her problem was but I very close to asking to speak to management. She even tried to argue with me about some oysters that me and my guest never ordered. I will not be back to this location

Exceptional food and service! Do yourself a favor and grab your friends for dinner. You won't be disappointed. Feels upscale without being pretentious.

The food at this restaurant is absolutely delicious, with each dish bursting with flavor and expertly prepared. However, the service was disappointingly slow, detracting from the overall dining experience. Despite the culinary delights, the lengthy wait times for orders and attention from staff left much to be desired.

literally came one time as a new oyster person and loved them. loved then so much came back and dont taste the same at all dont even look the same. they have bacon on the rockafellas and no bacon was on there so i ask if they can put the bacon on and the sent them with big chunks of hard bacon and today it had no flavor! so disappointed i was craving these and boom they nasty and this where i tried them at for my first time. so basically its a hit or miss for me i was onnly coming for these but i will not be back because youui cant count on them being the same. they was a 5 star my first try but today its a 1 but my drink was good. a recipe is needed so everyone cook the same. very disappointed. can speak on any other food but if thinnbgs are different depending on the cook idk! drink was 5 stars though

Pleasantly surprised with the classy interior when I first walked in. I'm not from the area, so I didn't know what to expect. I had heard from a friend that the sea bass was amazing here, so I decided to stop by around 6:30 on a Saturday evening and the friendly host was able to place me at a small table right away. Thank goodness because there were already no spots left at the bar. Alex, my server, was very knowledgeable about the menu and had a great sense of humor. The drinks were pretty, and the food was tasty. I would go back just for the chargrilled oysters alone.
