The Georgia Aquarium is an incredible experience! The Ocean Voyager exhibit with whale sharks and manta rays is breathtaking. The aquarium is well-maintained, and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. It's a must-visit for families and anyone interested in marine life and conservation!Would definitely recommend a Membership if you are wanting to make more than one visit during a year.

Love love love! The first hour they are open is sensory friendly so there is no added sounds or music throughout the building. They also have designated headphone spaces throughout the building for those with sensory issues. So much to see, do and learn. Recommend seeing the sea lion show and the dolphin show but be sure to line up early so you get a good view. Will definitely be back!

Best aquarium I’ve been to. As an advanced scuba diver this is the most educational and immersive marine experience I’ve had outside of actually diving to the bottom of the ocean. Great customer service and the flow and design of the place was quite adequate to handle the crowds. The behind the scenes experience was really nice as well. Highly rated!

You could stay in the Ocean Section for hours.

It's such a great experience. We really enjoyed walking around and checking out all of the animals and displays, with the exception of having to dodge rowdy and obnoxious field-trip children. But, that's not at all fault of the aquarium and should have been expected on our end. In all, we spent a little over three hours here walking around, taking our time, and enjoying the displays.

Amazing aquarium! It's designed so you get very close to the tanks with some of the most amazing animals in the world. The whale sharks and manat rays were enormous. The sea lion and dolphin shows are definitely worth seeing. Shark exhibit was great, many hammerheads, white tips, black tips, and sand tigers. You can see everything in a few hours if you rush, but if you take your time you could be there all day. Going early helps beat the crowd!

As a school that spent thousands of dollars, I was so disappointed in the staff. They were not accommodating at all. We were about 30 minutes late due to ATL traffic. They refused to reschedule us seeing shows, at points some of the employees wouldn’t even look at us when we were speaking to them. This place is beautiful, staff….not so much.Edit…I feel that I must include that not long after I posted this one of the staff came and personally apologized for their rude behavior. That was very appreciated.

I purchased tickets to the Georgia Aquarium on April 19th (2024), believing it was a Saturday as it was displayed on the website calendar (image attached). However, upon further inspection, I realized that April 19th is actually a Friday.Attempts at Resolution:I emailed the Georgia Aquarium customer service requesting a ticket exchange for Saturday, April 20th, but received no human response.I attempted to call the international call center (at my own expense, as the toll-free number does not work), but was unable to resolve the issue.A friend who lives in the US tried to call in my name and spent 38 minutes on the phone for NOTHING. Unacceptable!Consequences of the Error:Due to the calendar error, I will be unable to visit the Georgia Aquarium on April 20th as planned.I have incurred additional costs trying to resolve the issue by phone, as email communication has been ineffective.Request:I urge the Georgia Aquarium to correct the website calendar error and assist me in exchanging my tickets for Saturday, April 20th at the 9:00 AM time slot.Remarks:I believe this is a serious issue that could affect other visitors to the Georgia Aquarium.I am disappointed with the lack of response and resolution from customer service.I hope the Georgia Aquarium will take the necessary steps to correct the error and help me resolve this issue as soon as possible.Contact Information:Screenshot of the website calendar showing the error.I appreciate your attention to this matter.Additional Warning for International Visitors:I would also like to warn visitors from Brazil and other countries that they should not rely on the information provided on the Georgia Aquarium website. The calendar error I experienced suggests that the website may not be accurate or up-to-date. I recommend that you contact the Aquarium directly to confirm any information before making travel plans.Thank you for your understanding.

“BEWARE THE SPLASH ZONE,” THEY SAID!I was warned about the volume of water the dolphins were going to erupt from their pool (see image) but I still sat in row 8 inside the splash zone… and I’m happy I did. The dolphin show was wonderful and just having that sort of interaction made the lengthy wait worthwhile. It’s centrally located inside Pemberton Place with other attractions, so you can knock out a few in one day as I did. However, this one is open late, so I would suggest leaving it to the latter half of the day if you have time constraints to explore all the exhibits thoroughly.Unfortunately, the food options were limited and expensive.

These 5 Stars go to Ms. India and Mr. Seven for going above and beyond!! Not, the GA Aquarium!! I wanted to send the Biggest Thank You to Ms. India and Mr. Seven today!! They both took the time to help me (Ms. Woods) to locate my grand daughter school and class from Warner Robins. I just wanted to see my G-baby girl (Faith) today and give her a hug and purchase a gift from the GA Aquarium gift shop for her. Ms. India and Mr. Seven we're so kind to bring her up to me. Ms. India even took the time to take my G-baby girl to the GA Aquarium gift shop to get her gift for me. I have a injury to my left knee so, I wouldn't been able to walk around and accommodate her on her school field trip today. I couldn't even go into the gift shop due to GA Aquarium policy. The female security wanted me to go online to make a purchase. Why? When the class was there and about to leave. GA Aquarium need to come up with a better policy. Maybe GA Aquarium needs to provide a Neon Wrist Band for that purpose only to be used for. I waited outside the exit door just for that moment for my g-baby. Who in their right mind wants to pay for a tour just to go to the gift shop to make a child's day? I still made a purchase. Train your security to be more compassionate and understanding!! Do Better GA Aquarium!! Everyone is not a theft!!

I purchased a shark cage dive ticket for my daughter’s 16th birthday in April 2023. Was told a few days before our trip there that they were no longer offering that excursion but they might in the future so they gave me a gift certificate to use later. Well they are not doing the dives and it has now been a year. I requested a call so I could speak with someone about getting a refund. They did not call me like I asked they took it upon the pro issue the refund back to a card that has been closed and I no longer have access to. I asked them several times how to fix this issue. The last thing I was told was I am just basically out that money now cause the refund had been issued to a credit card company I no longer deal with nor have an account open with. So please make sure that you get a refund immediately if they can’t do what you paid for. Do not let them tell you that later on you can get the money back cause there is no guarantee you will. I paid over $600 for that trip there since we do not live in GA and that does not count lodging and other expenses. I will not be returning to this aquarium and I will make sure that I never recommend it to any friends or family. I never thought this company would handle things the way they have.

We purchased the resident passes when they were available in January and this was our first time using them. It's been years since we've gone and I can't wait to get more use out of these passes. Our experience was great! The staff is friendly and helpful, the exhibits are awesome and it was a whole vibe. My favorite part was the dolphin show! We sat in the splash zone and got soaked, lol. The sea lion show was nice too. We went on a packed Saturday afternoon. I'll probably go early, during the week next time around.
