Came here on Feb 7th and grumpy old man who is probably owner or manager basically ignored me (black) and took order from another lady (white) even after we both made it clear that I was first in line and she was after me, and I had called in order which would’ve been quicker to ring up. He then proceeded to still take her order and sent me to another lady to wait and pick up my order. Super rude and disrespectful after I have been here many times for a lunch break to support a local spot. It’s unacceptable and they’ve lost my business for good. UWS has more dining competition coming anyways, they probably won’t be in business for much longer with average food and inadequate service like this.

Even though Cafe at Pharr is known for their chicken salad, they have the best tuna salad around! I almost always get takeout and I’ve never once had to wait on my food. It’s always fresh and delicious.

Went for a breakfast on a Saturday. We are able to get on the wait list online and got sat quickly when we arrived. The prices and size of servings and quality of food are good. We'll be back!

Basic sandwhich, nothing fancy. Ask for toasted and the meat wasn’t even warm.Customer service was extremely poor. I was stared at but never greeted which was odd but doesn’t surprise me with it being an Atlanta restaurant. Overpriced items & does not have basic sandwhich ingredients like pickles, but charges over a dollar for cucumbers. Not worth the try honestly, would not recommend.

Had the Teriyaki chicken sandwich. It was quite delicious. Gives memories of Thanksgiving dinner carving board style chicken with fresh veggie toppings. I'll be back here for lunch on my next meeting.

I have a mixed review. While the food was good, the gentleman who I presumed was a manager or owner misgendered me twice and upon being corrected by my spouse misgendered me again. Poor experience. Go to zunzi's instead. Lgbtq folks be warned. Now I will say that the food we received was delicious and worth the money we spent. I just wish the service was more in tune with expectations.

I don't miss driving over this way but I loved going here for lunch. Their salads are so awesome. It is enough for 2 in my opinion so get half to go and get 2 lunches out of it. My coworkers usually got the sandwiches, also good and then the little yogurt roll dessert they give you was a nice touch. The staff during lunch was always great. If I am in the area again I will definitely remember this place.

Arrived at 230 were let in but told to hurry because they close at 3. Placed order but there was a bug visibly on top of my salad so I asked for our waitress to someone who brought the food out. Older gentleman asked what I needed. I explained there was a bug and inquired if I could just have it taken off the bill. The gentleman took the salad without saying a word so I just sat there assuming it would be taken off the bill and maybe they were upset because I noticed a bug in my food? About 10 minutes later I was handed another salad that maybe was remade? The salad was actually good but the service was subpar.

I call it the little old lady sandwich shop but don't take that as a negative. Food is reliably good and reasonable. Service is always friendly. I've never seen it too busy at lunch. Meals come with a little yogurt roll that is the best. Worth it for lunch with friends

I originally came here because I wanted a quick little stop in between appointments for the day. I was greeted shortly after sitting, by a gentleman in his late 20's, wearing shorts and sunglasses indoors, and I asked for a minute to look over the menu. After a couple of minutes I decided I was just going to get something small to go since I had to leave soon and I usually never go somewhere without buying anything. After about 10 minutes waiting for the guy to finish up with the current guests and several more walking in, he slyly made his way back to me (it wasn't very busy at all), and I decided to just order two bottled waters and asked for the check since I had to leave soon. He brought the check and said "we don't typically just allow people to sit without ordering any food". I was planning to order a to-go salad had he come back sooner. As someone who's worked in the restaurant industry for over 5 years, I thought it was a rude statement with the demeanor he had. The total was $10.84 and I left a $20 dollar bill, which was the fastest I saw him move to do anything to assist me, taking the change. I told him to keep the change, because to me it's not about the money or that I can't afford to eat. It's about the service and treating everyone equal. I will unfortunately not be returning, but thank you for allowing me see that I, as a customer, am not valued as everyone else.
