Usually good Indian places are outside the city, but surprisingly this place has good food. It's only a short walk from Piedmont park. I've been a few times so I'm overdue to write a review. Now, I will say on this last visit, the Tarka Daal was quite salty and the shrimp saag wala only had a few pieces of shrimp; MAYBE 4 and the dish is $18 so rightfully so thats a turnoff and probably wouldn't order it again. At least with that protein. We also ordered the Bhindi Okra and 2 orders of garlic naan. Both were good. It's a small place and it's not busy when I come which can be a good thing cause you'll always have a seat but on the other hand, concerns you a bit. They're attentive as well. Parking is free for 2 hours and it's located upstairs in the Monroe Drive plaza.

During my recent visit to Atlanta we went here not once but twice. It was THAT good. My niece and I went one night for dinner and had the best experience ever. All of the wait staff were excellent, we especially enjoyed Nabil who was hilarious! We couldn't decide between the chicken 65 and the Tandoori wings. We went with the wings but were pleasantly surprised when Nabil also brought us the chicken 65. While both were delicious the 65 was our favorite! We also ordered butter chicken, veggies and garlic naan. The butter chicken and naan were spectacular but we didn't love the veggies that were a bit mushy for our taste. Surprisingly the star of the show, that brought us back again 2 days later was the hot masala chai! I still dream about that chai, it is truly magical. All in all we love this restaurant and it's now on my list of places to eat while in Atlanta.

Food was so good and the waiters are really nice. Food came quick. They had music playing too. The space is big,overall, a very wonderful experience. One of my favorite places to get Indian food in Kansas.

Very delicious tandoori chicken tikka, spicy and flavorful saag paneer, garlic naan, shrimp tikka masala, mango lassi. The staff was incredibly nice when my daughter suddenly got sick and we had to get them to change our order to to-go. The patio seating was quite wonderfully pleasant, with a lovely view, but we couldn't stay. We ate our food later, at home, and my daughter even said her mild masala dish helped make her stomach feel better. I asked for my saag paneer a little bit spicy and they obliged and magically gave me exactly the right amount of zip to it. Bad timing on this visit, and I am very sorry to the staff, but we will definitely come back, and try more exciting dishes.
Its a small resturant but the food and the service is excellent. I had a early dinner with out of town visitors. It is a very nice place. Enjoy.Parking: Free parking up to 2 hrs.
Save yourself from this place guys: I'm sorry for being blunt, but you should be ashamed of calling your place an Indian restaurant. I ordered Haleem, Chicken Biryani, and Mango Lassi. While the Mango Lassi was good, the Haleem and Chicken Biryani were the worst. Instead of Haleem, you gave me a watery soup with small chicken pieces and too much ginger and garlic. Do you even understand what Haleem is? I would have been satisfied if that soup tasted good, but it didn’t. As for the biryani, you just gave me chili powder flavored rice with chicken pieces instead of Chicken Biryani. This message is for the owner: Sir, you need to fire your chefs and hire new ones. Please do not waste your hard-earned money on skill-less chefs who make tasteless bad food, leading to a bad name for your restaurant. Take this as constructive feedback for your own good.

wow. I am completely blown away by the authenticity of the food. staying in india for a month, I have developed their six senses of taste; what that being said, desi spice is literally the closest I have had to the food in rishikesh. everything was clean. as soon as you walk in they great you. hospitality is great. meal came out hot af. the experience brought me back to india. i lovedddddd india.
I placed a takeout order through their website linked in this Google listing. I got home to discover half my order missing. I called to let them know and they said I could come back and get the rest. I did not want to go back and politely requested a refund. Then they said I could just tell them about this next time I order and they would give me the missing items for free on next order. I said I would prefer a refund for the missing items and eventually the man on the phone agreed to refund.Roughly a week later I still never got the refund. I will not be eating here again. The food I actually did get was OK but nothing special, and certainly not worth the exceedingly weak and careless customer service. No wonder the place was completely empty at prime dinner time.

This place is still as good as I remember it to be. My now husband and I went on a "date" after the movies here a few years ago. We went back this past weekend to order take out after seeing a movie. We ordered the chicken biryani which was very good with the right amount of medium spice. Portion size was good and filling!
