I went here with a friend after viewing the Stevie Wonder exhibit and I believe they were short on staff this evening. We didn't take it personally and because we patiently waited our server was so sweet she didn't charge us for drinks and gifted us tiramisu for dessert. That tiramisu was so good I forgot to take a pic! Lamb Shank is a huge serving! The sauce that came with it was a bit salty, other than that I enjoyed my meal and the ambiance of the restaurant. The tiny cocktail in my picture was a Pomegranate Martini and it was pure liquor! If you like your drinks strong then you'll love it!

Excellent food and service! The ambiance of the restaurant is beautifully curated. I went on a week night so there was no wait. Our waiter, Dylan, was very attentive. The drinks were tasty. The calamari and meatballs were great appetizers but the foccacia was underwhelming. I got the Branzino as my main, it was SO flavorful. Everyone at the table agreed it was the stand out. The lamb shank was delicious and tender. The pasta is house made and tastes authentic. This restaurant is located inside of the Thompson Hotel so you'll have to valet if you drive. Add this to your must try list if you're an Atlanta foodie.Parking: You have to valet or find a paid lot in the area.

Dirty Rascal and the Thompson are frequent date night away spots for my wife and I. We enjoy dinner and breakfast here, always good food and great service and the cocktails are top notch!

This place is the worst in Atlanta at answering their phones.

Dirty Rascal was on my list of restaurants to try and they did not disappoint. Our server Jeff M provided thee absolute best service. If you decide to try Dirty rascal ask to sit in his section. The food was amazing. Very fresh, great presentation and tasty. This restaurant will be added to the list of places to eat in 2024.

New chef - they got rid of the lasagna!!! For me, and so many others, the lasagna was THE draw of this restaurant. I brought a friend to enjoy it together, which we were unable - I thought the server was joking when he said they do not serve lasagna. We were tempted to just have cocktails and leave, yet we did have a meal. Chicken parm is what we both ordered and it was forgettable. The beet salad was quite good. Terrible decision by the chef to remove such a signature dish from the menu. Hope they bring it back. Until then, won’t return. Also of note is that the service was slow - we noticed only a single server in the dining room, being assisted by the manager.

Samri is phenomenal! I've been twice and have observed her moving through the dining room gracefully and swiftly. She takes care of each table with a welcoming smile and professionalism. Her energy is top notch. The pancakes have such a perfectly crisp edge, that I came back specifically because I enjoyed them so much back in December. The cherry on top is that there's a Stevie Wonder exhibit at the Thompson Hotel, so I ended my delicious breakfast with a walk through the galleries.

The service is slow, you have to flag down your server to get any service. They charge liquor tax on Mocktails and my food was served cold. By the time the waiter came back I didn't have the energy to argue & asked for the check. This was an experience I do not need again.

I went for a private affair. I will definitely return. Everything was good and not over priced. You have to attend the rooftop as well.

My wife and I arrived 5 minutes before our reservation time and was sat promptly. Soon thereafter we were greeted by Jeff and offered water and a menu. The water came out quickly and after roughly 20 - 25 minutes, that was the last interaction we had with anyone from the restaurant. We looked around and noticed most of the tables were still waiting on food or had menus (despite most having been there before us). Then we noticed that the restaurant continued to seat people as they arrived but clearly didn’t the capacity to provide service to those already seated. Needless to say, we left (with no interaction from anyone in the restaurant). It’s Saturday night in Atlanta, DO BETTER!!!!! Maybe the worst example of customer service that I have seen in Atlanta.

We came here for a nice Friday date night since we saw the reviews were great for the food. When we got there we were somewhat stranded at our table and no one came to fill our water for about 5 minutes which was strange for a more high end place to eat. Overall the service wasn’t great but we just ordered everything all at once so we didn’t have to deal with it too much. I think they are just really understaffed so they don’t have enough time to wait every table. The cocktails are amazing. I had the purple butterfly and it was a fun combination of flavors that I really enjoyed. The calamari had good flavor but definitely over cooked. My main course, the truffle pasta, had a good vision but was kind of cold when it got to me which was disappointing since it was a creamy pasta dish. My partners dish, the signature red pasta was amazing however, so that made it worth the visit. Overall, if you expect minimal service and focus on the food, cocktails and a really lively/ romantic atmosphere it’s a place worth going to once.
