The first time I tried this restaurant was on March 22. I had the oyster sampler ( I've had much better) and the best lobster bisque I've ever had. In fact, I got to try the last batch and the fresh batch and couldn't figure out which one I loved best.So when my best friend told me he was going there on April 22nd, all I wanted was that delicious bisque. I raved about it so much that he tried as well. He was disappointed in my taste buds because he said it was horrible and he had to add salt and pepper and something else to make it taste better. I could not believe it. I needed nothing but a spoon when I was there last month.I tried the one he bought me and he was right. That is not the same bisque that I had just a month ago. I'm not sure if it was a different cook that did not follow the recipe, but that bisque needs to be consistent because when made correctly it's perfection.

Service was not good (Saturday 4/6) we are regulars that live in the neighborhood and we love the food here but whomever served us this day was not having it. She even complained to the host “well they gonna have to wait!!” Before he even took us to a table. Bad attitude before even being seated! We even went out of our way to be nice and courteous to the server and she was still dismissive about everything and just so short with us like we were bothering her just ordering basic things not even anything complicated! Food was fine but the service was so bad we won’t come back for a while, especially on a weekend. The fact that we still tipped well says a lot about us vs. the type of service received.

Went to try the oysters. Menu looked good with a lot of new orleans style dishes. I tried the oyster sampler so I can get 2 of each kind. The oysters were cooked goof but were gritty. They could've cleaned the oysters first if not clean the shucker to prevent the sand getting inside. They flavor was ok at best. I've had better. The cesar salad was good. Service was ok, I give it a 3/5. Idk if I'd ever go back.

One of my favorite spots to eat. The food tastes amazing!! And the hibiscus margaritas are to die for..I promise you won't be disappointed with any item, my favorite dish is thr fried catfish with red beans and rice ? deliciousness!!
We took my Mother-in-law here for lunch and were completely satisfied with our food and service provided by Andrew!!

It was low key, the staff was friendly, and the food service was very quick. Speaking of the food we had some positives and some neutrals. Here is what we had:Cajun Rice Balls ❤️❤️❤️These were simply "okay". We wouldn't order them again because there was nothing special about them. We have had tons of great rice balls in Atlanta and this is at the bottom of the list. They were just dull.John's Famous Cold Crab dip with pita points❤️❤️❤️Same as the rice balls, not bad just dull. Would not order again. The pita points were a nice touch though and were warm and soft.NOLA oysters ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️Okay, finally something we loved. These were amazing. We will be back for these again and will order no appetizers. Came here with my grandma and aunt for some much needed family time, and they did not disappoint! They're from out of town, and I really wanted a great seafood spot that wasn't too hectic on a Saturday night. We had fried calamari and muscles as appetizers, and they were both delicious. Whatever bread they gave us was one of the best things out of the whole meal! Especially when you dip it in the muscle sauce or the oyster stew. I ordered the scallop po boy and Lobster bisque. Absolutely phenomenal. I'm still thinking about that bisque ? 10/10 spot and will be coming again! Drinks were great, music on point, and service fast. Parking was a bit tricky, but there are paid lots all around, just gotta find spots!
