Absolutely the best Italian food \\u0026 drinks. The owners are the bee’s knees! The decor is fabulous. The whole experience was *chef’s kiss*

It is interesting to read reviews; of course we all have our own opinions. What is great to one person, may be the downfall to another. I choose a lot of dining experiences by researching reviews as I feel that they are very important to potential diners as well as the restaurant ownership…and so it begins. Once you walk in the door of this charming, family-owned place, your eyes go into overdrive as you are not sure what to look at first. The eclectic and unique décor add to the energetic ATMOSPHERE highlighted by oldie but goodie music from Sinatra to the Bee Gees. Around 9pm the fog machine starts and get ready for a lot of chair dancing and sing-a-longs! Just wait till “Sweet Caroline” plays….the whole restaurant gets into the action! This is an Italian restaurant like no other! The SERVICE is amazing and spot on! The entire staff works in tandem to make sure your water glass never goes dry and if drinking wine; the glass is topped off regularly. Recommendations are made when asked and suggestions of starters like the Reggiano Parmigiano, Pesto \\u0026 Olives help with your decision making. MENU choices are many and delicious. I suggest ordering different dishes to pass around and share as it makes for a more fun evening when you get to try a lot of foods. They always highlight their authentic dishes with the freshest of ingredients to insure the best dining experience. The Caprese Salad is beautiful and tasty. The Pappardelle Sinatra is yummy to the tummy topped with fresh tomatoes and herbs. Lobster Ravioli not only has lobster meat in the pasta but you get a small lobster-filled tail. I could go on and on. And don’t get me started on the oversized martini glass filled with Spumoni or the Panna Cotta with fresh Blueberry Compote. Finish it all off with a shot of an in-house recipe of Limoncello…Bravo! The OWNERS, Giovanni and Gale, run the floor and kitchen to make sure their integrity and excellence comes out with every dish. With over 20 years in business, their astute knowledge of how to run a restaurant along with their love of what they are doing shines with every interaction with their patrons. It is if you are dining at your mamas. And if you don’t want to eat inside, there is always take out. Overall EXPERIENCE makes a visit to Il Localino one to savor and then once you leave you start the countdown for your next visit. My husband and I have been coming here over ten years and have celebrated many birthdays here as well as entertaining out of town guests. I posted pictures on Instagram and Facebook this weekend and it was interesting to read comments from so many who stated “my favorite restaurant”! Eating at Il Localino is a true experience…great food, a crazy fun atmosphere with a great backdrop for many memories to be made.

Food is amazing. Wine is amazing. The atmosphere is amazing! AND the service is impeccable! We had the prosciutto and melon as an appetizer then the fettuccini and veal for dinner. All of it was to die for. 10/10 for taste. Not to mention, the owner, is the sweetest man! He told us some great stories and the entire experience and atmosphere just made my heart so happy. I was pleasantly surprised and I can’t wait to go back.

We had an amazing Valentine’s Day dinner here. The food was exceptional. The decoration was very impressive and bringing romantic vibes. The restaurant itself is a hidden place behind a small door. I loved my experience here.

The staff was very polite yet the shift seemed understaffed for the Sunday evening I went (my host and I had a reservation, which should have helped them anticipate needed staffing). The dining tables were small (they might work for those who want a romantic dinner) and the restaurant's layout was very tightly packed. The bread was served wrapped up in a napkin with no basket. It was a crustier bread and it would have been much nicer if it was pre-sliced. While the server proactively said he would bring out more bread, he did not get around to doing so. Prices were high for the quality of food and the overall experience. It's in a nice location with a local restaurant atmosphere. The server was knowledgeable about the menu and remembered to upsell dessert. They surprised us by serving a complimentary pair of potato croquettes. My opinion is that there were many parts of the experience which were good yet they should examine a few things - there's potential to make it great.

My partner and I LOVED everything about this place. The food was tasty and made to order. I'm vegan so Mama Gale had the chef slightly alter one of their dishes to fit my dietary restrictions. The ambiance/decor was cute and fun. The service exceeded our expectations. We will be back.

Everything about IL Localino was amazing! The owner came out multiple times and was so so nice. The food was delicious - half of our group was vegetarian and the other half was not - amazing options for both. Would recommend for a fun girls night and/or a special occasion. 10/10 would go back. Forgot to take good pictures but highly recommend the eggplant parmigiana.

Went for a birthday celebration on a Sunday night. Called ahead about bringing a cake and was told we could not due to covid, I understand that, but no birthday dessert was offered in lieu. The food was excellent with the exception of small portions for the price point. The service was rushed, we were in and out in a little over an hour for 6 people. This was my first time eating here so I am not sure how much of disappointment was Covid related. (We did order multiple courses, salad, entree and dessert!)

Exceptional food, nice employees, regularly awesome vibes. They charge affordable rates and the food quality is great. Keep it up.

The service and ambiance is nice, but there isn't anything remarkable about the food. I had linguine with clam sauce and it was just noodles and melted butter for $30. Another friend had plain pasta with marinara sauce and broccoli and it was $36. Definitely a one and done kind of place
