great drinks, friendly bartenders and a cool atmosphere. they have regular events like karaoke and dungeons and dragons. they also rotate the arcade machines periodically throughout the year, i believe the current selection is available to view on their website but has many popular 80s and 90s multiplayer arcade games in various genres. they also have a room with couches, pinball and board games. there is an outdoor fenced in smoking section as well. the frozen mixed drinks are a personal favorite of mine. in the past they've sometimes had pop-up restaurant concepts hosted but don't, to my knowledge, ordinarily serve food of their own. great date spot, or to go with friends and play some games. it would be fun even without drinking if you're just wanting to play games.Parking: parking is catch as catch can. there are some paid lots in the area, as well as some limited street parking. but on a busy night, it can be tricky to find a space sometimes.

This place was cool. We went on a Wednesday and stayed there for about 2 hours. They have a good variety of games and even cup holders near all of the machines. Free water is also available which is a plus. I wish the board games would’ve been more organized as some of the boxes were empty. We had Kentucky mules and they were pretty good. Luckily for us we found parking right in front, but I can see it being a problem on really busy days.

What I liked: The arcade games were in really good repair, someone has put a lot of love into them and they still play really well. The drinks were great and the atmosphere was awesome. If you plan on getting some gaming and drinking done with some friends, this place is amazing.Edit: That review is 8 years old. Since then, Joystick has become my home bar, the food is amazing, they do D&D, Smash, Mario Kart, and Karaoke on the regular. It's where you will always find me!

What could be better than playing classic arcade games and drinking. They have cool drink holders next to each game and even tall block stand for your drinks. It has a full bar, and even an adjacent room with tables for those Dungeon & Dragons meet up. They have machines to get quarters for the games. Lots of fun for an old school player.Some of the games there: Ms. Pacman, Galaga, house of Dead, Tekken,Blitz, Mortal Combat, X-Men, Centepidee, Tetris, Jump frog, and more.

Always a great time! Drinks are well prepared and the vibez are always good! They offer free play sometimes and karaoke night on Thursdays is always a blast! Sometimes it can get a bit busy but the bar does a great job of keeping up with everyone.

A bunch of funky gamers sitting on nasty furniture playing games and hyping each other up. The first and only game I tried to play took my money and that was that. I had a drink, scoped out the scene and left. I THOUGHT the atmosphere was thing to be much different than what I saw. I went, I had a drink and I'm good. I won't be back.
