From my first interaction with this store leader (using neutral pronoun as not to completely put them on blast, but those who work there will know who it is), it's been negative vibes. It was so bad that I'd see them working a register (cashier is not their regular role) with very few people in line, and I'd go stand in a longer line just to avoid them. The initial encounter had to do with me mentioning that some stacked cases of water on the floor by the register line were blocking customers from adequately maneuvering to the register without them potentially tripping. (You're welcome for trying to help the store avoid a lawsuit.) Like, I almost tripped because I didn't see nor expect there to be cases sticking halfway into the register aisle. Additionally, the case on top was leaning and about to topple over and could've fallen on someone's feet. I brought it up nicely and casually. But why did I even say anything at all? From that point, it was on. They proceeded to argue with me about how to use my Kroger Plus card and payment method. They weren't trying to be helpful; they were just trying to prove me wrong because I'd made them mad. There have been other times I've been forced to interact with the individual, and it's always the same attitude. Last year I had to communicate with them regarding a customer service matter. They kept their head down and was writing or pretending to write while I was talking. I said "hello?" because I was confused why they seemed not to be paying attention. They responded, "I'm listening" with their head still held down writing, then reluctantly looked up after about 20 or so seconds with such a look of disdain. It was so awkward. The next and last time we interacted, they seemed nice. I was surprised and thankful that I hadn't written a negative review because I wanted to. Like SO bad. Whenever I saw them I thought about it. But with this last interaction, they smiled and even said something sort of friendly regarding what they were "supposedly" helping me with. But later after coming back in the store when they were not on duty, I discovered through another source that they hadn't done what they were supposed to. I believe this was intentional. They aren't overly pleasant with any customers (I've observed to determine if it's just me who rubs them wrong). I guess that's fine except that their role is supposed to demonstrate the epitome of good service. What I have a problem with, though, is anyone - ESPECIALLY at a company where I'm spending a good chunk of my hard-earned money - who displays such overt, mean-person behavior. They CHOOSE to be this way. I try to refrain from getting in people's heads too much, because it's such a waste of energy. But...I'm assessing anyway. I get that folks have bad days, and I try to be kind to those working retail roles especially because 1) they deal with all sorts of challenging personalities face-to-face, and 2) they could have personal issues and still have to be in the open handling messy customers while pretending all is well. No closing a door to be alone and work. I tried to give the individual the benefit of the doubt despite their behaviors. However, it's been more than a year, closer to two, since this started. Their "having-a-bad-day" pass has long expired. I think it's time to stop letting insecurities, jealousies, trauma, or WHATEVER it is dictate their treatment of customers. It's not okay and if it's hard for them to be nice, then they should get out of customer service. Like, how did they even get in this role? So, this one's less for me because I almost talked myself out of sending this even after this last suspected vitriolic act. It's more for those who this person might've sent away in tears. This individual hasn't made me cry. However, they have frustrated me and I usually leave feeling heavy hearted and hurt after being in their presence. T

Worst of the worst. Management is untrained and virtually non existent. When visible they are clearly miserable, incapable or unwilling to produce a positive customer experience.

This is my main grocery and I have the Boost Delivery service. On January 10th, I never received my order and I had to reorder from Instacart. It's January 23rd, and I still have not received my refund of $82.26! I called the 800 number for Kroger, and it took me FOUR CALLS AND AN HOUR TO GET THROUGH TO A HUMAN BEING!!!! SHAME ON YOU! I could not get resolution with Kroger who insists the refund went through 1/20, even though US Bank (Kroger Mastercard) said they had no such verification code and no credit on file. I had no choice but to file a dispute, thanks to the total ineptitude of Kroger. This Kroger Boost delivery service is in Marietta, GA, 30064.

'Not sure what's happened, but this is the worst grocery shopping experience I've had. No cashiers, lines that are ridiculously long, ... I've shopped here for 20+ years. Publix, here I come!!

Came here three days ago to shop for some groceries for someone under the weather. I thought I had already written a review of this store, so I didn't bother to take any pics, but, apparently I was wrong. Parking was easy to find, since this Kroger location shares a large free parking lot with many small businesses that are in the same strip mall. A Kroger gas station is located between Roswell Rd and the big parking lot. The main entrance brings customers into a large produce area, where most of the items looked fresh, except for the large navel oranges that were too expensive. Too expensive and reject oranges ... nope! I ended up getting some bagged oranges instead. I also looked for some chicken soup, and ended up buying some Kroger brand chicken noodle soup that turned out to be a good buy since it passed the ill person's taste test. One thing that bothers me about this store, and I rarely shop at this location, is that the placement of items is sometimes disjointed, and not put into a logic order. Why not put ALL of what could be considered snacks in the same aisle, like one would expect, instead of having some items in the produce area, some in the snack area, and some in an aisle I just didn't expect them to be in? I get it, a decision maker wants to put items in a high traffic area so that more people just grab and go, but I mostly look for specific items, like a certain brand, or size or flavor, and I will walk the entire store looking for it. It's just annoying finding out that what I'm looking for is not where it should be. *sigh* The back of the store seems pretty cluttered to me, with many items appearing to have been pushed into a long line that takes up some of the aisle space. There are too many self checkout registers here, and not enough open regular checkout lanes. The employees are so much faster and efficient at ringing up customers than the average customer is, and, really, some customers should just stay far away from the self checkout lanes.

This has to be the most poorly managed Kroger in Atlanta. There are rarely baskets available when you enter the store. You have to find it yourself. Typically by the self check-out. There are never multiple in-person registers open. 1 at most. They constantly close down half of the self-checkout registers at peak hours which creates massive lines. They close half of the entrance at like 8pm. Rarely is there ever anyone at the customer service checkout. The seafood and deli close down way too early. I was in there yesterday and there was nothing available at like 7pm. The Starbucks is a total lottery. Some days it is open and others not.

Came here one night to get some last minute groceries with my boyfriend. Everything was organized like any other Kroger, there wasn't anything unique about this one. Disappointingly, once we ready to checkout, there were no cashiers open. The only area available to check out at was the self-checkout line, and even then, not all the self-checkouts were open. It took us about 20 minutes in line to finally checkout. I'm still grateful for those who were working that night, but hopefully this location restaffs soon so that people aren't waiting too long to checkout.

This review is for the online grocery pickup. This used to be my go to location, but after such a bad experience with the online grocery pickup I am changing stores. I made an online pickup order for Sunday between 10:00-11:00. At 10:40 I used to mobile ap to say I was " on my way" which is advised when 15 minutes away. When I arrived at 10:55 I checked into my parking slot as directed. By 11:15 nobody had come out yet, so I called store as the ap states to do if you are still waiting. When I called, the phone hung up as soon as the call went through. I called back again, no answer. I waited 5 more minutes assuming they were probably just busy. Next time I called the store's main phone line and they transferred me through to the online pickup. The person who answered said he was aware I had checked in, but that he was still preparing my order. It was already almost 11:25 and he told me it would take about about 10 minutes. At this point I figured I would be better off just going somewhere else and having them cancel the order. While online grocery pickup has been convenient in the past, it's only worth it when I'm not waiting an hour past my pickup time.

I enjoy frequenting this Kroger when I'm in the neighborhood. It isn't the best looking Kroger (could use a refresh) but it's larger than others near by, has a good selection, tends to be less busy than other grocery stores near by, and check out never takes long. Employees at this location are great too.

The gas station is well lit at night and the grocery store is always mild with little traffic or wait. The self checkout is always manager and a little faster. Shout out to the woman that manages this, you are always a pleasure to speak with

I will NEVER shop at this Kroger or any other again. I was physically threatened and verbally assaulted in this store by another customer in front of several employees who witnessed it, and the manager did NOTHING about it. I will not give this company my business ever again. I dont feel safe going back. This is their policy, to not do anything to protect their good customers and its not safe for the normal public to shop. Good luck with the riff raff you protect. This is multiple experiences but this is the worst, as my safety was at risk this time. Previously, I went to management and reported a man stuffing his coat full of stuff to steal and I was told thats ok.. they allow stealing and have a policy to not confront anyone for ant reason. So riff raff can go steal what you want, they wont stop you, but keep in mind if you are a good customer they wont protect you if you are being assaulted in their store. Will be going to publix from now on.

I walked here in the morning from my home and didn't bring my wallet but I at least had Apple Pay (we are in 2020, everywhere accepts that now). Attendees were basically laughing at me saying I had no money when I offered to give them my credit card #. One guy said "don't be poor" as I walked out. Disgusted by how you treat people here.

Why are the Kroger air machines always seem to be broken? That's three in a row. If you're going to offer the service, then repair the machines. Otherwise don't offer it. It's annoying to go out of the way to come to one of you locations and to have them broken. Now do this three times.
