It was a refreshing meal. I recommend making a reservation as I went without one & ate in the lounge. The menu showed ambition & creativity. *Chef's nod* I respect it.

eight people at our table to celebrate a birthday. Excellent food, drinks, and service. Especially good was the curry chicken, chicken soup, and dumplings. Good old fashion. Expensive. The bar area is very nice. One of the best I have seen. And beware the valet service is $20. Le Colonial gives a $5 discount so price comes down to $15.. Even so, this is the highest valet service fee that I have ever experienced. That aside, we enjoyed a wonder evening.

I regret to say that our experience at Le Colonial today, celebrating my friend's birthday, was far from satisfactory. Upon arrival, the host's demeanor lacked any warmth or friendliness, setting a negative tone from the outset. Despite noting "birthday celebration" in our reservation, there was no mention of it until my friend had to approach the host to remind our server after the meal had concluded. Throughout the dining experience, the service was notably lacking in attentiveness, which is particularly disappointing. While the food was good, the overall experience was overshadowed by the subpar service. Despite hearing concerning reports about declining service, we chose to give Le Colonial the benefit of the doubt, only to be thoroughly disappointed.

We had an exceptional dinner! We had 2 more people than excepted and not only did they work with us to adjust but it ended up being a private room that was much quieter and perfect for our loud group of 10 ladies! If you're looking for a private room for a small group the Lotus Room is the perfect spot!

The manager is extremely rude souly because I didn’t make a reservation, given that the entire restaurant was empty. He told us we could sit at the bar. When we got to the bar, the bartender looked at us and said that they wouldn’t be opening until 5. The manager said nothing when we left.

We typically have had great experiences here. The food is excellent and the ambience and interior design is lovely. We had incredibly poor service this go round and provided feedback so hopefully it was a fluke

This restaurant is wonderful! We had a birthday party and everyone was thrilled with every detail. Luscious food, fabulous ambience and decor, excellent service. The only problem was that one friend used the OpenTable directions which had the wrong address. Her GPS led her to the wrong location. We had to redirect her on the phone to the correct location.

This was my first time at Le Colonial. The service was top tier, the food immaculate and the waiter truly made the experience worth it. My initial order was messed up. Not only did the waiter goes above & beyond, but she made the order right. Giving me free dumplings on the house for the misunderstanding. Overall I would recommend this place to anyone that's in the Buckhead area.

Tucked away in the heart of Buckhead Village lies a hidden gem that seamlessly melds French sophistication with Vietnamese charm – Le Colonial. From the moment you step through its doors, you're transported to a world where elegance meets innovation, and every bite tells a story of culinary mastery. Our dining journey at Le Colonial began with the Cha Gio Chay, a delightful starter that promised a symphony of flavors. Our server recommended the Crispy Vegetable Roll, filled with Taro Root, Bean Threads, Lettuce, and Aromatic Herbs, and it did not disappoint. It was a tantalizing introduction to the evening. The accompanying Tamarind Sauce provided a perfect balance of sweet and tangy notes, elevating the dish to new heights. For our second course we went with the Sup Ga Cay, aka Spicy Chicken Soup. It's a delightful take on the traditional lemon grass coconut soup I'm accustomed to ordering at Vietnamese restaurants. Their version delivered a punch of flavor with every spoonful. The Lemongrass Poached Prestige Farm Chicken Breast was tender and succulent, while the Qihe Farm Shiitake Mushrooms added a depth of earthy richness. Paired with a Spicy Coconut Broth, this soup was a comforting yet invigorating interlude to our meal.As we ventured into our culinary exploration, we were presented with the pièce de résistance – the Vit Quay. The Roasted Half Duck was a masterpiece of flavors and textures. The Organic Tea Cured Hudson Valley Duck was impeccably cooked, boasting a crispy skin that gave way to tender, juicy meat. The accompanying Mushroom Sticky Rice and Tamarind Ginger Sauce provided a harmonious accompaniment, while the Pickles added a refreshing contrast to the richness of the dish.To culminate our dining experience on a sweet note, we indulged in the table-side flambeed Warm Chocolate Cake. Prepared with Valrhona Cocoa and accompanied by a generous scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream, this decadent dessert was a showstopper. The Flambée of Orange Liquor added a touch of sophistication and theatrics, perfectly complementing the rich chocolatey goodness.Throughout our meal, the service at Le Colonial was impeccable, with attentive staff guiding us through each course with grace and professionalism. The ambiance exuded an air of timeless elegance, with its dimly lit interiors and subtle hints of colonial charm.Whether you're seeking a romantic dinner for two or a celebratory feast with friends, Le Colonial is sure to leave a lasting impression on even the most discerning palate.Vegetarian options: Their menu incorporates a variety of different proteins and a few veggie- only dishes. They are not a primary vegetarian location, but there's a couple of them in your party, there are plenty of options from which to choose.Parking: All of the parking in this area is paid. They offer Valet, Street, and Garage parking (descending order of price.)Kid-friendliness: You won't find dedicated kid's menu. Though they are accommodating when removing items from a dish. My elementary aged child eat all of the noodle + broth only pho delightful.

The atmosphere is inviting and the service is top-notch. The attention to detail in both the decor and the cuisine truly sets them apart. I highly recommend trying their signature dishes, as each one is a culinary delight. The staff is attentive and friendly, making you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. Overall, Le Colonial ATL is a fantastic dining destination that never disappoints. Great job everyone!

We love the bar menu. Vietnamese spring rolls and papaya salad were yummy. They have a good lychee martini. Good way to start the night -a great Buckhead spot.

Love this restaurant and we always have a great time. But last night the service was lacking and not the best we have received. Our server was MIA a lot and we had other staff members checking on us more.
