We went to Atlanta for a conference, after a hard day,we decided to go for a quick bite, stopped by Max Pizza. While we waited for some friends to join us, we went to the bar and asked for drinks n a pizza. Friends came to join us and I walked over to the manager and asked for a table. To my surprised the manager refused to give us a table, her response " the wait staff are not going to make any money. Walked back to the bar and mentioned this to my colleagues, colleague ( white female) went to ask for a table and surprise, surprise , we got a table, manager came over to where we were sitting and yelled at me " don't roll your eyes at me, if you were to explain yourself...." on a normal restaurant, her response would've been " sure that's not a problem, but first, you have to pay your order at the bar. The restaurant is making the money no matter where you sit. Servers are there to served, tip is giving based on service. Owners should replace this lady. BTW. Im a dark paying cuatomer and our bill was over $200.00 and the waitress was well tipped

We popped in to Max's after going to the Coca-Cola Museum, just a 5 min walk. The pizza was delicious and the staff were friendly.

The host was perhaps over worked but certainly rude. When we asked whether we could sit at an open booth, the tone was dismissive and as if we demanded it ahead of a party on the wait-list. The same person gave attitude to a group next to us whose food had arrived and after a few minutes politely asked about beer they had been waiting on. They all had a look of what was that as she left. Our server was however quite nice and prompt.Food was decent. Pizza was good as was scampi. Cocktails were overly sweet. The outside seating is good on a nice day but beware the busy road with load traffic.Kid-friendliness: Decent kids menu but you have to ask for it or check the Web
One of the Best pies me and my family has had being here in Georgia for the last 2 years. We'll for Atlanta at the very least. Our Waiter was very helpful in our selection and recommendations. No complaints. Service was quick. Our wait time for food was at least 15 min. Will come here again next time we are in Atlanta.Kid-friendliness: The Waiter was very respectful to our 9 yr old.

Service was good and very flexible. Location and atmosphere were great.But food, their pizza was good, real break oven pizza but their wings were terrible. I don't know why wing is covered by cheese and no taste.
