I have visited the Roswell Rd location dozens of times as it is a family favorite of ours. We had just visited Mirko Buckhead a week ago and everything was delicious. Tonight, Mirko Buckhead was not answering their phone for me to place a take out order. Instead, I decided to ring the newer Brookhaven location. I ordered 2 Pollo Parmas which are a yummy spicy favorite. I got home and they were NOTHING like the Buckhead location. The noodles were thick dry and flavorless, sauce had a metallic taste with zero flavor, the chicken had a strange curdled cheese/coating on the top that was SMOTHERED in a thick rubbery pan cheese. It was honestly worse than a tv dinner. Even the bread was off. My husband and I had not eaten all day and we still did not want to touch our food after the first bites. I don’t mind spending money on food but this was like throwing $43 in the trash. Ended up ordering Chipotle delivery.

I ordered from Roswell location for a long time without a single complaint. This Brookhaven location is a train wreck. I order Door Dash a lot and am forced to deal with them. I have thrown 3 $35-40 meals away because they were drowning in an entire bottle of olive oil. Wish they would communicate with their sister restaurant to get it right. Don’t think this restaurant is going to last in Town Brookhaven. It is empty all the time.

This is a real gem! If you want homemade everything! I had the Salmon (cooked to perfection) au gratin potato's and asparagus! Delicious!! Staff is amazing. Will be back

I've been here 3 times now. The pasta is good, but the place is always empty. Like sit at the bar and be uncomfortable that you're the only one in here uncomfortable. Twice they were tapped on the beer I wanted. They only have 5 taps - not sure what the issue is. Food is good but it you're looking for ambiance this place is not it- it's always crickets. Given the traffic I don't know how they'll survive another year.

Would definitely not recommend getting a cocktail here. Several bugs flying in their cherries that sit right in front of you at the bar, wish I could upload the video. Don’t want to know what goes on with the food the customers can’t see.

Sad to say I don't think we will be returning to the Brookhaven location. Although our server tried to be helpful, she forgot one of our meals and another was served cold. The food was just OK, and the entire time we were there the rest of the staff just talked to eachother or stood around. It was so interesting to not have anyone ask how the food was, apologize for the mistakes, check on us, etc. if the food was great we would give it another shot but the ambiance combined with not so great food and lack of regard for customer satisfaction made it 3 stars.

We stopped for a late lunch on a whim! The food is amazing! Their fresh pasta, I had the shrimp /lobster ravioli in Alfredo sauce was amazing. ( you pick the sauce you want ). The Margarita Pizza was authentic and wonderful! If you want real Italian this is a place to definately try! We will be back!

Why serve hot food on a cold plate? Makes no sense. My chicken parmigiana was good, but served on a cold plate. My hubs had the salmon, same problem except his sides were ice cold. The server took it back to the kitchen, and then returned with overcooked fish and luke warm sides. Even though he told her the only thing hot on the plate was the fish. My advice is stick to the Italian items on the menu and skip the seafood. Management: PLEASE instruct your kitchen to serve hot food on hot plates, not ice cold. Also, could the kitchen lights dim? They are so bright from the dining room.

This place isn't going to make it. Service is great, don't get me wrong, but the food is not consistent with other Mirko locations. My experience prior to the Brookhaven location was with the Roswell Road location in Buckhead. They were excellent. Unfortunately the Brookhaven location doesn't seem to be following the same recipes. I have eaten there twice in person and had delivery twice. All were underwhelming and I threw most of the food out or left it on my plate. They charge alot for there food, so I am very disappointed the quality is not there, when it is at another location.

The service at this place is atrocious. Hopefully it was just that one day/waitress.When we were being led in, we requested booth seating. The waitress asked us to wait while she cleaned it. She sprayed the table once with a spray bottle, didn't bother wiping, and then walked away. When we sat down, we noticed that most of the table was still sticky. Five minutes later, our waitress comes over and drops off bread, dip, and water on our table. She doesn't say a thing and walks away. When she comes back to take our order, I asked her if she could give the table another wipe. She sprayed on a towel and gave it a single wipe as we held the plates for her. The table was still sticky. She then asks if we have any questions about the menu. We say we are ready to order. Then she tells us that pizza isn't available until after dinner. This is already 15 minutes after we sat down, and had seen the waitress pass us by many times. Since we sat down to get pizza, it would have been great to know that earlier on.Her attitude seemed unprofessional and the hygiene standards of the place seem subpar. Can't comment on the food as we did not decide to stay.

We came in the day after Christmas and we were very disappointed. As soon as we sat down, we were told their pizza guy wasn't there, so we couldn't order pizza, and that's exactly what I wanted to order, so I had to choose something else. I ordered Gemelli pasta with pomodoro sauce. My sister ordered rigatoni with arrabiata and a Cesar said and my Mom ordered rigatoni with Bolognese. After about 10 minutes, the pasta came out. No sign of my sister's salad. My pasta was al dente, which I prefer, but there was hardly any sauce on it and it was very bland. Just a heads up, the Gemelli pasta is green. No big deal - I just wasn't expecting it. The rigatoni of my Mom and sister's dishes was so undercooked that my sister sent hers back. She said it was inedible. When she told the waitress this, she asked if she could have her salad now and the waitress looked over at the counter for it and asked if she still wanted it (I guess they forgot to make it). My sister said she would like to have something to eat while the pasta was being cooked again, so the server went to the back and brought it out a minute later. The shaved parmesan cheese was either old or it had been sitting out. After a few minutes, they brought my sister's arrabiata rigatoni out and this time it was cooked well, but she said the sauce was terrible. They did ask if we wanted grated parmesan cheese for our pasta, which we did, but don't expect freshly grated cheese. Our server had it in a bowl and scooped it out with a spoon. Overall, lunch was a total letdown. Maybe things were off because of the holidays, but regardless, we won't be coming back.

So far the best authentic Italian food I have had in America.

I performed at the Conant Performing Arts Center last night and ate here with my family after the show. The food and service were both outstanding! We made an incredible choice.
