Best Bar in the Area - Oh That Pabst Blue Ribbon on Tap! Not sure you can find a better bar than this anywhere. I have been many times in the past, but not for quite some time prior to a recent visit. I have always loved the place and am happy to report that it was better than ever! Food was great and so were the beers. Don't expect a fancy dinner menu or some specialty cocktail... just spot on service, fantastic bar type food and a nice selection of beer. They have added liquor drinks, but PBR is definitely the headliner at this age old establishment and I recommend sticking with the classic. It is sad that Horace is no longer around to serve the patrons as he did for 50+ years. I am confident, however, that he would be pleased with today's version of Moe's & Joe's. It really is one of the finest bars anywhere in my opinion. I hope you can visit when in the area and hope you agree. I also hope I can return very soon! Thanks

been to Moes & Joes many times since moving to VaHi and its ok, nothing exceptional but a dive bar with a country feel. decent fried food and cheap drinks well yesterday my friends and i decided to go there as a second stop on my 24th birthday crawl. id never been on a Friday night before, but the bartender was an absolute c*ck. he asked for our licenses and then was giving us a hard time for our very real Georgia ID's, being super rude to 4 girls who are nearly 25yo. then he said "i'm not comfortable serving you all, but if you get another bartender to be okay with it then maybe you can be served?" the whole time he's clutching on to my friends debit card he won't hand back (i guess he wanted to check the name against her ID) i said it's fine we don't want to stay here anymore and then left soon as we got there basically.. ngl i did cry after because of how rude he was about it. i know i look young, but if he'd of looked close enough at my ID he would've seen i turned 24 that day and that's why a group of girls was out celebrating. we all had very real GA ids. he clearly didn't know how to pick out a fake. not ever going back to moes & joe's after that bartender made me cry on my birthday. even if he hadnt made me cry, it's kind of a mediocre bar that always has shitty too-loud country going. not even good country music. the staff has always been meh nice with mediocre service. very much a white straight male crowd. wouldn't feel comfortable at this bar if i was a gay person or POC

Had an unfortunate experience at Moe's and Joes. Customer service was practically non-existent. The owner, man in the blue jacket in my picture, was unhelpful and my girlfriend had to inquire about available tables since there was no organized system for reservations or seating and his table were jerks. Additionally, we were excited for trivia night, but the atmosphere was chaotic and felt like a free-for-all. The lack of organization and customer service further dampened our experience at Moe's and Joes. Overall, a disappointing visit.
