My mom surprised me and sent me food from here due to health issues im having. Ive never had it before.She ordered chili, mac n cheese, strawberry cake, and a side of fruit.Chili was soooo good. ?Mac n cheese was pretty good.Strawberry cake was moist and flavorful.

Offers a great variety of salads, soups, sandwiches and more. The restaurant is super flexible, allowing customers to mix & match, and even customize menu items. Good for lunch or dinner, and is certainly kid friendly. We love bringing our dogs and sitting outside during warmer months. Staff is super accommodating and often brings a water bowl for them :)I love the salad bar & tend to load up on the free pickled jalapeños & croutons while I wait for my order to be ready.Go-to order: Greek salad, no feta (I'm lactose intolerant), add chicken & use lemon-basil dressing. The ultimate sandwich is another winner.I do not recommend their shrimp, very small and overcooked.

This was the saddest excuse of a sandwich I have ever seen. Yes, I removed the lettuce. But one thin layer of meat you can barely see (photo attached). I don't understand why anyone goes here for sandwiches with other options nearby.

Standard lunch spot. The salads are good (but heavy on dressing) and large portions. The pizzas are yummy and the sandwiches are pretty solid (consistently good). Very busy but not surprising considering the location. It is a bit on the pricey side for lunch fare, but not disappointing.

The driver who was driving in the company vehicle (license plate: CEP4871) at 3:15pm October 7th, 2023 illegally crossed into our lane and almost caused an accident . I also saw them cut off another car and continue to speed. This place needs to get safer drivers.

Newk’ salads are always so good and the portions are big enough, plus the sandwiches are very tasty especially the provolone cheese sandwich ?! The only recommendation for this place is that they should have more friendly people in the front!
We visited this location after having a great experience at the Tucker location. Terrible mistake!We walked in and there were 2 hosts at the register talking to each other in Spanish. I specify their language for a reason.Unfortunately, I had to interrupt them and inquire if they could take our order. They both looked as if I’d ask them to do something that exceeded their scope of work. Nonetheless, I placed the order and they continued talking to each other. I was never provided with a total, asked to insert my card or provided with a receipt. Their conversation never wavered and they actually had the audacity to begin talking about us asking each other in Spanish “Why is this customer still standing here?” I replied in English, “I’m still standing here because I need my receipt!” That interaction negatively impacted the entire experience.We will never return to Brookhaven. Back to Tucker we will go!

I came in to pick up to go order. I walked up the counter and a young man by the name of Jason turned around and just stared at me… so I spoke first and said “hello how are you” and he gave me a dry “hi” not sure what his issue is but he needs better customer service especially being one of the first people we see walking in. I just told him the name on my order and walked away he didn’t even say have a nice day or anything. I won’t be going back here anytime soon.

Stepped in for todays lunch and was really taken by surprise of how good Newk's Eatery was! The location was spacious with plenty of dining and A/C for this summer but I sat comfy outside in the shade. The service was not only great but fast as I only waited for 10 minutes or so. I decided to order Newk's Half Cheesesteak and the Six Cheese Pimento with Bacon as a side because it sounded like a great place to start and I was right. Stuffed in between toasted Parisian bread with mayo not only was the tenderloin steak juicy but the flavor of the caramelizar onions and peppers was the chef's kiss! The six cheese pimento with that crispy bacon on top was too good I might have to order a bucket next time.Would definitely come back for a dinner next time!

They do a good job. Their platters are aorta small, so definietly order more than the head count. Probably good rule of thumb to order for 3 to 4 additional people.
