I just read that you have closed. So heartbroken but wish you the best in your retirement! I have the best memories of both the food and Nicola.

Nicola's is back!!! And this longtime local treasure is as wonderful as ever. Friday and Saturday nights only, Our Mezza last night was superb -- falafel tender and flavorful, salads delicious (with very fresh parsley and the perfect touch of lemon juice in the tabbouleh), best baba and hummus in town -- all the quality that Nicola's pre-pandemic customers would expect. We are longtime fans who missed Nicola and his delicacies so much during the shutdown, and are overjoyed that they're back.

The most fresh Middle Eastern food - babaganous, tabeauli, humus, and more! This is the only restaurant that serves dolma (grape leaves) with meat inside in addition to the traditional vegetarian option. Come for the food or the festive atmosphere. Nicola Is The Life of Party! Celebrate your birthday or any special occasion here. Everyone dances and has a great time. They also have belly dancers to keep you entertained. This is a great family friendly restaurant. Oh Bring $ingles to tip the dancers and other patrons that dance! Everyone makes it rain on everyone!

Located on Lavista near Briarcliff Rd. There is a small parking lot surrounding the restaurant and we found a parking space fairly easy. The outside is not much to look at and the inside is very casual with mostly big tables. There was some sound equipment in the middle of the place, so I got the feeling something more than food was happening. We sat near the kitchen at a big table and they handed us a small paper menu. Mostly middle eastern and a few Turkish/Greek entrees. A couple of vegetarian choices too. I chose a Vegetarian Mezza and my partner had the Lemon Chicken. We had a couple of beers too. Looking around, we could tell this was more of a party restaurant, since most of the tables were large and entertainment was coming. Our food arrived and my food looked nice and my partner was pleased as well. The party started soon after. Belly dancers and the owner danced too. Eventually almost everyone, got up to dance. We were not in the dancing mood, we just came to eat. Our loss. Overall a good experience, homey decor, no frills, decent food and plenty of entertainment. I wish the food were better though. Go for fun.
