Philly G Cheesesteaks is really trying to make a good impression with delicious food and wonderful people working there. But if the food was a little cheaper and the menu was easier to choose from, I think even more people would love to eat there. It's a place that's still figuring things out, but it has a lot of potential to be a favorite spot for everyone in the neighborhood. If you're hungry for a cheesesteak, you might be surprised by how much it costs. This dainty sandwich is about $17, and that doesn't include anything else like fries or a drink. If you want a complete meal, it could cost around $30. Even the cocktails are a bit on the pricier side. The menu has a lot of choices, but maybe it would be better to just focus on making the best cheesesteak they can. And get rid of items like $14 milkshakes. Since Philly G's is new on this side of town, it would be nice if they had some special deals to introduce themselves. This way, more people could try their food without spending a lot of money.

I am one happy customer because I don’t have to travel so far to get my fix! Having Philly G down the street is perfect! Their food never disappoints !

We were headed to Publix and saw this place. They were 2 minutes from closing but took our order anyway. My veggie Philly was so good it didn't make no sense. My husband devoured his chicken Philly. We definitely plan to go back.Parking: It's near a Publix so parking may get tricky if they are really busy.

Didn’t even eat.. however Nick set the bar HIGH. He entire persona makes me want to come back. Pricey, but good food and service will be worth it. One thing tho, turn the music down a tad

The food is good but the set up is confusing. It's not exactly fast food even though the menu is a fast food kind of menu. Everything is a la carte and on the pricy side considering the kind of food they offer. I had a ribeye Philly and it was good and a nice size but $16.95 is a bit much especially since it doesn't come with a side or drink. You have to order at the bar and almost compelled to tip.

Philly G Steaks has been under construction for a while, and finally opened up recently. It’s a really nice spot with tons of indoor and outdoor seating.Their staff were pretty friendly and welcoming. No complaints there.I got a standard beef cheesesteak, and I have to say, it was quite good. My only complaint is that the peppers and onions were a bit undercooked. They probably are just trying to get the food out fast, but I would have waited for the veggies to be a bit more cooked.Parking: Decent parking out front, and around the apartment complex the restaurant is in.

INSANELY overpriced. This is my first time and last time here.We ordered 2 Philly’s, one side, and 2 drinks, and our bill was over $50. An $18 sandwich that doesn’t come with a side? Yeah never again. You’re better off ordering one and sharing it.

I got a delicious chicken cheesesteak and onion rings and a salmon eggroll and a water ice. Onion rings and eggroll got eaten in my car on the way home. I tried the Cheesesteak last year at The Works location delicious!

The Good:Great service. The people working there were friendly, and my order came out quickly. The food was good. I got a regular cheesesteak with all the toppings, and it was solid. Not phenomenal, but nothing wrong with it.The bad:The price. A single cheesesteak (no sides, no drink) was $19 including tax. That's insane. You can get one that's just as good for cheaper right down the street at Southern Food Store. You can get one for a comparable price that is WAY better at Fred's Meat and Bread 10 minutes away. They also sell milkshakes (I didn't get one) for.... wait for it... $15!!!So for a cheesesteak, a milkshake, and a side, you're looking at $40. No thanks.
