I went to this restaurant after I saw the Restaurant Review on ANF. The people were nice, the restaurant was clean. I thought a typical bbq restaurant style atmosphere. I ordered the Brisket plate and 2 sides. I thought the Brisket was good, but disappointed that it came to the table at room temperature after a wait , and the bread on the side was not toasted at all. The sides were coleslaw and their green beans. The beans were a peppery mix but good and the coleslaw was good as well. One of my friends also ordered the Brisket and had the same results. He was with me at the time. They also charge a fee for using a credit card. If they tweak their food temperatures I think they would get better results.

A group of guys from my office went here in lieu of McDaniels (Formerly Slopes) on Johnson Ferry Road. They noted that the barbecue was better at PNC. Admittedly it was but I have to say that the sides were underwhelming. The portions were quite small and the baked beans and turnip greens were mostly the sauce that the beans and greens were suspended in. We are paying a premium for mealswhen we go out to eat. In this case the big ticket item is the meat that once again, was quite good. however, I did not pay $14+ for 5 ounces of chopped chicken. I hope that this was an isolated experience and I will be different next time.

The smoked wings are yummy and so filled with flavor... My hubby had the pulled pork sandwich and it was yummy too... THIS IS AN ABSOLUTE JEM!!!!! ALL THE YUMMUES! We will return to taste all the foods...

Great spot. Really enjoyed the tacos. Awesome ownership. Been in Atlanta for over 20 years!

My favorite lunch spot for BBQ or catfish. The okra is great too

Always ask the right people if the food is good... I went and ordered the beef brisket. There was a middle aged Caucasian man that religiously vouched about the pulled pork, saying it was tender and flavorful..WHEN I SAY DRY AND BLAND, that's exactly what I meant. I should know better about who to ask about good food. Everything was amateur hour... I can see why they were extremely slow for a rainy, Saturday night.

The wings, catfish and potato salad were the ⭐️ components of today dishes! Everything else was just ok, not bad-but there other places that I know those dishes taste better. I like the whole nostalgia feeling & laid back serve yourself atmosphere. The manager and employees were very helpful recommending the best sauces to try with what meats. And they have moon pies, a childhood favorite ?

My youngest daughter and I loved to come to this place. We always got the Turkey plate with fried okra and broccoli. The side of chicharrones excellent. She still asks to come back, but unfortunately, I found. Myself made sick from what I presume was I sweet tea left out for too long (we both ate the same stuff except for the tea, but then I was sick)

I was unfamiliar with this quaint lil BBQ spot when I originally moved to Georgia so I was eager to try it. I tried a variety of their wings at a catered event and enjoyed so decided to go on my own. I am in love with okra and always love theirs as well as the fried pickles. The fried pickles are a bit salty but no complaints paired with the wings. I must admit that when I have a taste for smoke wings, this is my GO TO. At times, I think, the wings can be cleaned better and have spotted distasteful hairs on a few...that is such a turn off to me when eating wings and a sign of poor cleaning. BUT I must say, I do enjoy the flavor of their smoked wings. The sides are pretty bland so I'd play it safe and stick to the chicken. What I love the most and can always appreciate is the friendly and helpful Southern hospitality and service.

Uhhhh well I’ve definitely had better. The sliced beef brisket was pretty good but the Mac and cheese was quite literally the worst I’ve ever had. I came back & exchanged it for fries which weren’t much better but they were okay overall. The baked beans were decent but nothing too special.

So disappointed. They're skimping on meats, but the worst disappointment was banana pudding made from a mix with 4 big chunks of banana and NO VANILLA WAFERS....they used crunched up moonpies. Eeww

Driving by decided to stop for lunch...what a disappointment. Food was very very average with little flavor if I used the entire bottle of sauce on my pulled pork sandwich. Coleslaw from a bag as well as the deep fried okra. No corn muffin on the plate or a few fried pickles...if they wantto sell some from the menu. Nice young lady behind the register. One step up from Arby's I think...sorry to say!
