My wife and I enjoyed our final meal at Portofino (it's closing Oct. 22). We have been dining there since 2005 or 2006 and have always had good experiences there. We met another couple there for dinner on Oct. 18 and the service, food and atmosphere were wonderful. We'll miss it.

It was great. We are sorry that they are closing on 10/22/22 after 20 years. Was a great place to dine. Charming atmosphere on a quaint street in Buckhead. Things are rapidly changing with new development of high-rises and retail in the neighborhood. Portofino will be missed!
We live in the neighborhood and frequently dine here. We love this restaurant; it never disappoints. Excellent food, service snd ambiance. We are so sorry to see this awesome restaurant close - Buckhead is loosing a real gem.

Wine selection was good and went with a Piedmont Red that was placed in a decanter for us. Ordered 2 apps: Shrimp Risotto which was just meh at best and Veal meatballs were good. Server was focused on other things as bread didn't come until after we had eaten half of our appetizers (though we did see other tables getting served apps). Gnats were keen on the wine we ordered (3 total that enjoyed). Entrees: Porkchop was cooked well and sauce was good, Cauliflower Rigatoni was not great in comparison to other Italian restaurants nearby. Overall was expecting a little more but we left saying it was just ok at the price point. Bartender was awesome FYI when we were waiting at the bar and having a drink.

I took my friend, Karen, here for another birthday dinner! We had the BEST evening-exceptional food, lovely covered patio, superb service, and easy valet parking! You just cannot go wrong with dining here, especially for a special occasion! We especially appreciated our experienced and attentive server, Alvin; he is a gem, and we will be sure and ask for him the next time we dine at Portofino's. Bravo!!

Portofino is a beautiful, quaint, and romantic little cottage tucked away in Buckhead. The mussels are some of the best around and all of the pastas are delicious! I recommend sitting outside around sunset for the best experience.

Had the trout. It was very pretty to look at, but the trout and the squash underneath it was room temperature. Trout was over cooked and dry. My companion had the red pepper pasta dish, pasta was over cooked. The temperature of his dish was too hot, had wait for it to cool down. Both of us had water to drink, our waiter only refilled our glasses on request. Sorry, we aren't wine drinkers, maybe that is why our server didn't appear often. We sat in a room with one other couple, they were loud and we overhead most of their conversation... such a nice venue, the converted house, sets up a cozy upscale feel, but the food and serve were disappointing.

Welcomed and requested a quiet table. It was a very busy Saturday night but suggested a table for us. Quick and efficient service throughout our meal. Good food all around for all of us.
Brought my wife, my son's girlfriend and her 87 yo grandmother. We had warm and hilarious conversation and tasty/enticing food along with great service (Ester). It was a very enjoyable evening. Ester deserves a raise for her attention to detail and her efforts to provide excellent service. Best. Tom Dodson

We hadn't been to Portofino for a couple of years or so and decided to go with close friends. The outside seating has improved with a roof snd ceiling fans yet still had the outdoor ambiance. The service was top notch and the food was tasty and creative.

Portofino is a go to romantic place - The food is always amazing, the wine choice impeccable and most of all you can actually hear each other... The ambiance is wonderful and the wait staff are gracious. Great evening out for two.

It is a real treat to dine at Portofino and we have never been disappointed. In our most recent visit we ordered the beets appetizer, which was one of the best dishes we have ever eaten anywhere. Thank you Portofino for a lovely evening.

I like Portofino; the food is always good, it is fairly priced , the people are congenial and customer oriented. I really like the variety of rooms in which you can sit - depending on your mood or number of people in your group. The atmosphere is lively but not so noisy - you can't hear yourself or your friends talk.
