Very nice all around! We went to the rooftop. Excellent selection of apps, burgers, sandwiches and salads. Live entertainment (one guy) on Friday nite. Good service. Will be back!

I was a little disappointed with the food. Went for lunch and realized they had a different menu. Nothing extraordinary. Salad was bland. The steak was over cooked and dry and too much seasoning. Veggies were good but expected the food to be wow like the look of the restaurant. Maybe the dinner menu is better but the lunch menu was pretty plain

So good! Such a nice place for a family or group gathering. We come here a lot and have seen so much improvement such as opening the lower level for lunch!!!

Really nice atmosphere, really great food. Service definitely left a lot to be desired. Had to wait 10 mins standing idly at the front before hostess even appear and then she was huffy. They strangely only filled one glass of water when they came around. Appetizers came out very slow and then entrees right on top, with no prebussing or changing silverware. We had to wait a long time for a check (finally got brought by another waiter) and then the valet was nowhere to be found when we walked out. Ended up being a very frustrating meal in a restaurant that otherwise has all the potential in the world to be a good spot.

R&C Kitchen delivers perfectly cooked steak and delicious halibut. The Malbec wine complemented the meal flawlessly, and the cocktails were expertly crafted, without any dilution. A satisfying dining experience all around.

The restaurant itself is stunning very upscale, with a beautiful bar area. Service was amazing from the hostess to the waiter everyone was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. However, the food was sub-pare to say the least. Appetizers: the Hamachi was good but not as fresh tasting as I've had before. Lobster bites were overly crumbed but had a good flavor. Tuna Tartare was not good at all. Entrees: The hanger steak and lamb shank were good; Halibut was fishy and over cooked so very dry and the Scallops were decent but not the best. The shining star of the entire meal was the Austin Hope Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 it was delicious! Very disappointed with the food, if that was amazing, they would be winning!

A Disappointing Valentine’s Day DinnerMy Valentine's Day dinner at R&C Kitchen was a disappointing experience. Despite having a reservation for 8:15 pm, my date and I weren't seated until nearly an 9:30pm. Once seated, we were surprised to learn that a prix fixe menu not advertised on their website or OpenTable was the only option. Unfortunately, the restaurant had already run out of both the starter and entree options we wanted from this limited menu. Disappointed, I ended up ordering from the tavern menu, which offered items I wasn't interested in for a romantic Valentine's Day dinner (thing gastropub food). On the otherhand, DJ is a great mixologist and quite attentive. If anything, I’d recommend sitting at the bar versus a table. Yet, the combination of a long wait, limited menu options due to shortages, and a menu not aligned with the occasion left us feeling frustrated and unsatisfied. Good to see new spots opening in Marietta, but R&C Kitchen definitely has some operational kinks to work out.

Had been there to reserve the place for a get together and the event coordinator was not there. Gave all my information expecting a call back and nobody called. Event coordinator is a joke. The place seems to be empty on the weekdays and event coordinator says she is always busy. Don't understand how. Will never return to this place. Will spread this information within the company and make sure others stay away from this place.

Great new restaurant. The decor is amazing. The leather everywhere and smells wonderful. The collection of rare bourbons and whiskeys was a pleasant surprise. The food menu is small but all the selections were excellent. Recommend the Himachi appetizer and branzino.

Nuisance!!! live in the apartments next door to this place and did not know they were building this restaurant next door. The place looks nice in the inside, however, they have a guitar player singing and playing on the rooftop and it is LOUD and annoying. They are the only restaurant in the area that does this right in between 2 apartment buildings. They are extremely inconsiderate in a relatively quiet neighborhood. I literally feel like there’s a guitar player in my apartment when I get off work. I can’t even hear my tv! Because of them I won’t be renewing my lease, but I unfortunately have 6 months left of it. I will be consulting with the city about this in the meantime.

They appeared to be a bit discombobulated from a service and communication perspective. The server was nice, but disorganized, and spoke too softly. He seemed to need some basic coaching. My wife's martini came without olives despite requesting them. People from the kitchen came to ask clarifying questions regarding our orders, sometimes repeatedly on the same topic. The oysters Rockefeller and fried crab bites were very good. My ribeye was cooked perfectly and quite tasty. It's an appealing space. If they can iron out some of the operational kinks, it has potential. If not, I'd probably not recommend it. For that price point, I expect a seamless dining experience.

This was our first experience at R + C and dined for a Valentine's date night. We made the reservation before any pre-fix meal because we wanted to experience the new restaurant and its full menu, our fault for not checking back. Many of the pre-fix options were "out" by the time we ate. R + C pricing is high for the experience. Our server was "from upstairs" so the quality of service was ok, but not overly impressive. There are way too many other options for fine dining that it shouldn't just be OK.

The dining room and bar are beautiful, service is attentive. Food is “meh.” The truffle fries were not worth the extra $2 over the regular “pomme fritte.” The fries are nothing special…just freezer fries. My Brussels Caesar salad had just a tiniest hint of Caesar flavor and no Parmesan at all but two huge anchovies —-all I could taste were the raw Brussels sprouts. I don’t want my salad to swim in dressing but a little dressing to hold the salad together would have been nice. The lobster bites were salty. The kicker was being charged $2 for a “share” charge because my husband cut off 1/3 of his sandwich for me to have with my salad. With so many great food restaurants 15-20 min away, we won’t be returning to R & C Dining except maybe to sit at the gorgeous bar and enjoy cocktails.

Overall, food was good. Service was fair. One complaint is that they do not have a regular or nice martini glass. Their martini glass looks like a small glass for wine. Unless there is a specific reason for that shape of glass for martini, that is not indicative of a fine dining restaurant.
