HIGHLY recommended! The food was outstanding! We had corn ribs (unexpectedly awesome), duck samosas, chicken tikka, tandoori chicken, and garlic naan. The tandoori chicken was the best I’ve ever had and was a large portion. Great drink menu and found a new beer that I love. Really enjoyed our date night. I recommend making reservations.

A bit on the expensive side, but well worth it! Sometimes we don't even look at the menu and just asked to be surprised. Everything here is that good, Especially if you like some extra spice.

Delicious food, exceptional service, we truly felt so at home and cared for. We brought our one and a half year old girl and everyone went above and beyond for her. The Lasooni (fried cauliflower), butter chicken and garlic naan all were beyond delicious.

This is a nice restaurant, and it would do them well to offer a small starter, such as papadum and chutneys, while orders are being prepared. I was a bit taken aback since this is common in most decent Indian restaurants. Secondly, the dishes I ordered were below average. The Handi Goshth (goat) did not convey a balanced melody of the spices; it was too salty, too heavy on peppercorn, and had an aftertaste of ghee. Goat is pretty gamy anyway, and a light oil needs to be used, not ghee or butter. The Tandoori vegetables had a pretty decent addition of spiced yoghurt, but again, there was a fattiness to the feel and taste of the vegetables; I don't think tandoori vegetables need oil, at least not very much. Perhaps would be best to offer the yoghurt on the side, as a dip, as I think the bagaar is what added the oiliness. The basmati rice was perhaps a grade I'm not used to; it was like plain, long-grain rice. Overall, the temperate of the food was almost room-temperature, as if the food was microwaved and some portions were hotter and some warm to room temperature. I am going to go back one more time, though, and try some other dishes, see if I have better luck.

It was dark so couldn't really see the menu. What I ordered was just okay with a few pieces of white fish. The cauliflower was the best dish along with the cheese & jalapeños naan.

Was there on Feb 2024. Very good Indian food place with a nice atmospherePros: Very good indian food options and a decent barCons: A bit pricey and service can be very slow - They need to improve the restrooms, they are very dirty and outdated

This place holds a special place in my heart. I have not lived in atlanta for 3 years now and Tabla is always the standard of excellence Indian cuisine in America should have.I recommend going during lunch and having their lunch special since it gives you a small taste of all different delicious options. I wish more restaurants did this

TLDR: Roach. I was served water with a dead cockroach in it.I’ve heard some good things about the food at Tabla, so I decided to give it a try.upon being seated, we were given the menu and glasses of water. The lighting was a very dim inside the restaurant, so I didn’t notice it at first. But my friend pointed out there’s something in my cup.At first, I thought it was just a housefly - which can happen in up-to-code kitchens- but upon closer inspection, I realize it was a cockroach. I was disgusted and quietly notified the server.Definitely will not be going back to this location.

This is the best Indian food we have ever eaten, anywhere! (Admittedly, we haven't been to India). It was creative, beautifully presented, and delicious. Service and menu was great as well.

We were about to book seating online, but there were so many available times that we thought we’d just walk in. There were no seats available when we walked in even though we saw some open. They probably didn’t have enough staff for the tables. That’s why they couldn’t seat us, but there was a spot at the bar, I am thankful because the bartender was excellent. He was probably better than any server we would have had. He was very knowledgeable about the food and help me pick what I thought I would like. everything came out unique and different than what I was expecting. I almost thought it wasn’t my order which was a great surprise.Okra Appetizer- cut very fine and fried with Greek seasoning on it. Delicious.Mash potato stuffed peppers were very unique looking, but because the seeds are still in them they were too hot for me. A cool dish nonetheless.Lamb kebab- I’ve had better, but this was flavorful and very fair priced. I ate it all.Goat Pot Pie- OMG so much flavor, so clever, so perfect with rice or any Naan bread they have is heavenly.Onion stuffed Naan-utterly amazing. How did they get those onions into that bread, it’s magic lol.Dessert- Sticky Toffee Pudding was not all that. The icing on top was caramel and it is delicious but the little cupcake taste like a Ryebread cupcake, the icing really saved it and it is kind of small like a basic cupcake in which the bartender did give me a heads up, but I wanted something sweet, I ate it all as it was edible, but not my favorite.Clean restrooms, great drinks, dark date nite vibe lighting, nice establishment, cultural appropriate people working in kitchen. I’ve had this place on my list for some years, but never went because I don’t like curry. A lot of dishes had curry in them as I expected but the dish I had with curry didn’t taste heavy on the curry at all. I am bummed because I waited this long to try this place and I’ve been missing out. Definitely five star across-the-board. Some items can be expensive when you get a couple of things, so choose wisely or come when you have a few dollars in your pocket lol. I highly recommend this restaurant. Food came out so fast, it was like they knew what we wanted or something, geesh. Even the dipping sauces are delicious ?Vegetarian options: Have a whole vegetable section on menu

The food was sooooo mmm mm good!! We ordered drinks, apps, and fish curry and shrimp tikka masala entrees. My Mumbai nights drink was delish! Only downside for me is that my server poured the water and didn’t return til my friend arrived (10-15 mins later) and I was trying to order for him before he arrived a little late. I’ll definitely be going back though.
