A resturant in chaos! Many of the great reviews were with the previous management which is no longer the case in 2024. In February we paid the grill a visit and our first mistake was to be seated as the only patrons present. The service was good but only 50% of the food was edible. We wrote a detailed letter to Sonesta's home office but never received an acknowledgement. What a surprise - what a shame! Unless their situation has been corrected, be aware if you plan to pay a visit.

Perhaps the worst overall dining experience I have had in years. First off, the name Chattahoochee Grill is just for marketing on Open Table. This is just the restaurant in the Sonesta Hotel. There is no signage using that name in the hotel. This was Valentine's Day. I had neglected to find a place to go and we decided to try this since it was near our house and had a fixed price menu that sounded good. We arrived on time for our reservation and after asking at the front desk, we were told that it was the hotel restaurant. There was no receptionist to seat us and it took 5 minutes or more before the bar tender came over and seated us. He said the waitress at the only other table that was occupied would serve us. It was 10-15 minutes before she made it to our table and another 10-15 before she managed to bring a drink and water to us. It was over 45 minutes after we arrived before we got our salad. And then the main course arrive at almost the same time. Finally, it took 20 minutes after she had cleared our plates for the desert to arrive. A total of over 2.5 hours. The food itself was very average to poor. Our Caesar salads were not as good as a bag salad from the grocery store. Our steaks were tough and contained a edge of grissle. The person bringing them out of the kitchen mixed the plates up as we had ordered different doneness. I will say the potatoes and beans served with the steaks were quite good. For desert, I had the cheese cake and my wife had lava cake. The waitress explained the delay in the deserts by the fact that the cheesecake was frozen. They had obviously microwaved it and as a result it was soft and mildly warm which is not at all how a cheese cake should be. Do not under any circumstance done here.

Above average bar food menu.. decent priced drinks, service could be a little quicker. Frequent this establishment regularly.

The food and staff sevice was good but we were the ONLY people in the restaurant for a 5:30 dinner reservation. There was only one cook so our wait was long and the wine selection was limited, the bar tender had to take inventory and come to the table with a different list of what wines were available. My son ordered an appetizer he did not enjoy or eat and we were still charged for it. The worst part of this dining experience was the hotel guests of the Sonesta, where the restaurant is located, are entitled and rude. The guests, waiting outside to go to a braves game, blocked the side walk as we entered and the guests loitering in front of the restaurant in a circle blocked our way to the hostess. Even as we approached them the GENTLEMEN crossed their arms and widened their stance. Not a very welcoming experience.

I recently dined at the Chattahoochee Grille in Sandy Springs and overall had a mixed experience. The fact that the restaurant was located inside a hotel was a bit unexpected and off-putting, but it didn't significantly affect the quality of the food. However, I found the serving size to be small, and the food itself was just okay. On the positive side, our server was attentive and provided excellent service. However, I was disappointed to be charged an extra $30 for our group of 4 adults and 3 small children, without prior notification. Taking all of these factors into account, I would give the restaurant a 3.5 out of 5 stars. While the service was great, the small portions and average food quality were drawbacks, along with the unexpected charge for larger groups.

Friday night; wanted a quiet place (no live music). Surprising for a hotel restaurant. We sat next to the windows overlooking the pool where people were enjoying themselves. Service was pleasant and excellent. Limited menu, but food was excellent and abundant. Shrimp and crab chowder very tasty. Hubby ordered bourbon chicken. It came on a bed of garlic mashed potatoes with a bit of the sauce from the chicken and fresh whole green beans. My spring mix salad with tomatoes, olives, marinated artichoke hearts and cucumbers topped with grilled chicken was fresh and great! I got not one, but TWO sliced chic fillets served with balsamic vinegar dressing. Couldn't eat it all!

In town on business and I decided to give the restaurant within my hotel a try and OMG, I was blown away. Everything from my waitress, Rosemary to the chef were AMAZING. The attention to detail and the food were hands down the best ive ever experienced at a restaurant inside of a hotel. I highly recommend you checking them out, even if you arent staying at the Sonesta. I had crab cakes as an appetizer, the chef let me sample the grilled oyesters and lets just say I'll be back tomorrow for them. ANNNNNNND the shrimp and grits had a surprise twist embedded within the grits...collard greens!!! 10 out of 10!!!

On business and I decided to have dinner at the restaurant in my hotel and Im so glad that I did. I have never had such an amazing meal from a restaurant inside of a hotel in my life. Hands down the best!!! Everything from the staff(Meron, Rosemary,Mike, and Allen(the chef) were AMAZING! I dined on crab cakes for appetizers and the shrimp and grits as my entree. To my surpise, collard greens were embedded within the grits! DELISH!!! The chef let me sample the oysters and I've had them 3 days in a row. Even if you are not staying at the Sonesta, pls visit the restaurant

My husband and I and my sister ate here last night. Everything was great. Mike was our server and he was superb. The manager was very nice also. We had a great time and the food was absolutely delicious. My husband and I had the shrimp and grits and it was very tasty and my sister had the Caesar Salad with shrimp which she enjoyed very much as well. The prices are reasonable especially for such great cuisine. We will definitely put Chattahoochee Grille on our list as a regular spot to go to.

The food is average but the service is superb. We have been to all sorts of restaurants of all levels but the waiters /waitresses here are so nice and go above and beyond. Just wanted to do a shout out to Mike (from Ethiopia ) and Anna who provided such a wonderful experience for my family on Valentine’s Day. They were so thoughtful and exceeded my expectations for the level of customer service I was expecting . Highly recommend for a low key night with a welcoming staff
