The grits really are great. It wasn't busy at 9:30 am on a Friday (I'm thankful). I think our server's name was Tiffany. She was nice and we were greeted, warmly by the staff (coming in and leaving).

The food was excellent (with so many options) and the service prompt. And Natalie was such a friendly host! Would definitely recommend to others and will return when I'm in the area!

This place has lost all its charm over the years. It used to be one of the best places to eat breakfast when it first opened but after the founders sold it to a company it went downhill. The staff are very nice but the place is falling apart. It needs repairs and repainting everywhere. Most importantly, the food is average to terrible. An old friend from out of town insisted on going there today and I ordered the Flying Biscuit breakfast. The eggs were ok, the biscuit was average, the apple sauce seems to have been sitting around for a while, and the sausages were like hockey pucks. I could not cut them. Terrible food but the staff are very nice. They are the only thing that made the experience tolerable.
