My experiences at Thrive in Atlanta were as diverse as night and day, reflecting a range of service standards and atmospheres. On my initial visit, unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired. Upon arrival with a friend, we found ourselves waiting by the entrance for an uncomfortably long five minutes without being seated. Even after moving to the bar area and waiting an additional ten minutes, we were left unattended, feeling invisible amidst the sparse crowd. The lack of acknowledgment or service was disheartening, and we departed without so much as a word exchanged with any staff member. However, my recent visit to Thrive painted a vastly different picture. Returning with a group of friends for drinks, we were met with attentive and friendly bartenders whose knowledge of their craft was evident. They took the time to engage with us, offering recommendations and ensuring our satisfaction throughout the evening. The vibrant atmosphere and excellent service made for an enjoyable outing, a complete turnaround from my previous encounter. In sum, while my initial experience at Thrive left much to be desired in terms of service and attentiveness, my second visit showcased the establishment’s potential for delivering top-notch hospitality. The disparity between the two visits suggests a need for consistency in service standards. Nevertheless, the positive experience on my recent visit leaves me hopeful for future visits to Thrive.

Good place to eat dinner near the Tabernacle & Centennial Park. Food was good. I loved the firecracker roll and the pot stickers. Hubs got fried green tomatoes and a burger. Both were okay, but slight under-seasoned. Mixed drinks were delicious, but FYI happy hour is for the bar only (if I had known, I'd have ordered my drink from the bar and then gone to my table). Our waitress was very nice, timing the food well, and provided good service. Not a perfect five star place, but good enough that we will be back next time we are headed to a show.

Good food, good service, good ambiance. Nothing ‘wowed’ anyone in my party, but we all had a pleasant dining experience here.

The sushi was beautifully presented and very fresh. The calamari appetizer was just okay. Too crispy and very small pieces. The shrimp and squash/arugula/grains salad was super fresh and tasty. Service was good, overall. Had to ask for water refills and she never asked us if we wanted a second alcoholic drink. Never asked how our food was. The kitchen got the food out fast, as the restaurant was quite slow for a Friday night.

Came here twice for lunch and once for dinner. Fries were delicious. You also don’t expect their sushi rolls or sashimi to be good but they really were! Just wished for 4 pieces for $10. Tends to get busy with maybe not enough wait staff but very professional. Also enjoyed the cobb salad when not eating sushi.

Excellent food, fresh and delicious! Drinks on point, with a special twist! Great atmosphere, beautiful decor! Definitely will come back! Thanks to our waitress , who explained and suggested great food choices!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It was our first experience here and it was amazing from beginning to end! The service and food were fantastic, the portions were delicious, and the presentation of the food was awesome! The server was attentive but not overbearing...

Arrived at 5:25 for a 5:30 reservation. Was immediately seated, but took 30 minutes for a cocktail to arrive. Then, over an hour later for our food, with our waiter difficult to find the whole time. Then the wrong food arrived, and he said it would be an hour more to correct it. Worst service experience ever. Ruined our anniversary dinner.

We decided to try Thrive after seeing their great rating on OpenTable... unfortunately the experience was pretty terrible. Both meals tasted (and looked) like they had been prepared days ahead and reheated to lukewarm just before being set on our table. It was edible, as leftovers are, but very disappointing.

It was a good experience and worth the walk over from the other side of downtown Atlanta. It was really slow, which explains how it was so quiet for my meal, but I'll take into consideration that it was a mid-day Monday and a holiday. Overall, they have a good menu, interesting variety (not sure what cuisine they define themselves as), but it gives for options if one person is craving one thing and your company another.
