Reservation for 3:00 PM on Sunday the 31st. Got there and was informed that they were closed and had no knowledge of the reservation. Showed the Manager the confirmation of the Reservation and they had no answer and shrugged their shoulders. This was an Easter Dinner for two friends and their elderly parents. The attitude given is getting to be commonplace now in the restaurant industry however the prices being charged keep going up and up even with sub par foood and service.

Our family had an amazing time. The food, entertainment, exemplary customer service, arts and crafts for the kids, Easter bunny and egg hunt were par for the course. We will see The Whitleyvmext year.

I wish I could give zero stars. On Valentine’s Day there were 4 people in our waitress’ section. Took a hour to get bread, another 30 for appetizers and another 30 for entree. The food isn’t bad but to wait 2 hours for an entree better be crafted by the Lord himself and trust me.. it’s not.

We had a 7:30 reservation. By 9:15, we had only received waters and appetizers. We inquired secersl times with waiter, but no assurance or real concern for our dining experience. We decided to leave at 9:30, as we were mot interested in eating a steak that late in the evening. Not sure if this is the norm but the restuarant was not that full. Very disappointing ending for a Valentine's dinner. Various staff including management and hostesses, passed us multiple times with no notice to our empty table. Seems the activity at the bar took priority. At least the soup we had was good.

Do not dine here. They are terribly short-staffed. The kitchen seems confused about the menu. Items had to be sent back twice to be corrected. Service was extremely slow with an hour wait for appetizers. The ambiance was dry and quiet. We endured all of this for the food to be mediocre at best. Not only will I never return to this restaurant, I will never return to this hotel for allowing this to be a part of their customer experience.

We had a reservation for Xmas tea that was not sent from Open Table to the restaurant. So when we arrived there was no record of our reservation and therefore no kitchen prep for tea. Very disappointing as we had an out of town guest with us. The staff comped part of our meal which helped but we ended up just having lunch from a very limited menu of which they were out of several things. So not great.

The staff made the most of what was a challenging situation based on their service and attentiveness. We had a reservation, but apparently the event staff moved an event to the restaurant last minute that was going on at the same time. The event took up 75% of the restaurant with people walking all around which made it very loud and hard to carry on a conversation at our table. As noted, the staff did their best to make the dinner enjoyable, but what was going on around us made it very challenging.

The menu and photos looked amazing. In reality the tables looked more like a diner. Two other people besides us 7pm Saturday night. Food took a long time though hardly any patrons. Food less than mediocre. Truffle fries weee just regular fries with dead green dried herb on top. Salad swimming in dressing. Gosh wasn't fresh and was over cooked. Server tried to compensate and was very sweet. Two servers had an argument in the middle of the restaurant loudly. Thought it was to be an elegant evening but the ambiance and sticky menus and bad food was more like a truck stop. Waitress only saving grace.

Delicious trout, but the tomatoes were spoiled, the shishitos were SO hot, and they were only serving in the bar, which was LOUD. nice, but not worth $70 for on cocktail and one entree.

Had a great solo dining experience at Trade Root. The dining area was quiet which was what I needed. My waiter provided amazing recommendations and also was very knowledgeable of the menu.

The meal was extremely overpriced, the food was cold and not good. They didn't have our reservation when we arrived and tried to sit us directly next to the band's speaker even though the place was empty. And fought us that the other tables were reserved, even though we had a reservations and those tables were never sat the entire time we were there. I would not go back again.

The food was fantastic, as was the service of our waiter. However, actually getting a seat in the actual restaurant rather than the bar area was a bit of a duel. When we made the Open Table reservation, we had assumed we would be seated in the restaurant proper, as there was no mention we would not. The staff initially tried to seat us in the more crowded and noisy bar area. (If we had wanted to go to a bar, we would have made a reservation for a bar). We persevered, and were indeed finally seated in the restaurant itself. The restaurant itself is very nice, and once seated there, the evening was enjoyable. If the management wants to seat people only in the bar area, it should say so on Open Table.

Ambience, food, drinks were all good! Everything about this experience was great.Parking: When we were leaving I noticed my tire was going flat. The manager stopped me to let me know he could put air in my tire. This exceeded my expectation. He was patient and did not have to offer that. I will most certainly be back because of the kind gesture.

Valentine's Day dinner (9:00 reservations). I really wish any member of the staff would have checked in with us after i voiced how long it took just to get my drinks (over 25 minutes). This was a dinner that we looked forward to and cost over $350. All the food was good when it eventually came out. There were no visits from the server... no offers of drinks to keep us patiently withstanding an obvious difficult night for the restaurant. What should have been an impressive night for me and my wife turned into me apologizing for not picking another place. This isn't a review I wanted to write and and I could have forgiven so much with the right attention or attempt at service after the fact. I'd love to try it again but with so many choices out there, I just don't expect to risk another stressful night out. ... if I ever hear from someone over there I will go in with an open mind and would rate them fairly.
