What a great spot for live music. Drinks were great and service was on point. Saw a band play a night of Stevie Wonder songs and the venue was perfect.

Came for a Sunday Jam Session for the first time, music and performances were great. A great hidden space. However a one item menu being served during, should not take a 50 minute wait time. Service was very poorly managed.

Use to be a great neighborhood Resturant with fabulous food, live music and a wonderful vibe. Then came the remodel the vibe, the food and the neighborhood feel were destroyed. Now it’s a terrible sounding music room so sad.

Went for a Jazz session that wound up being an R & B, Nouveau, new artist showcase that was fun and entertaining. Had a fantastic time, only now kitchen open. There was some good food available but I really think the whole experience would be so much better with a open kitchen and drinks served. Need a bar run to fuel up, but the drinks were definitely finer.

The only place to really experience live music, real musicians, real singers, and local artists... I only attend on Sundays for the open mic and more rnb feel... Ignore the background funny acting diva singers (not all but trust you'll know them when you see them) and you'll be fine... Performers pay 5 non performers pay 10

I love, love, love Venkman’s! This is a such a cute location and they host a jazz jam on Wednesday nights from 7-10 hosted by Joe Gransden and it’s just a great vibe. As a singer the sound system is ?, 10/10 , ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. It just has a great volume, tone, and it’s so fun and therapeutic to sing. (I know that’s a lot but it really is a great system. ) if you’re looking for somewhere to go and have a chill night with cool people I would definitely recommend taking a visit to Venkman’s. *on the Wednesday night jazz jam they don’t serve food just drinks at the bar, but you can bring in outside food if you like
The band Common Ground Collective was absolutely amazing!!! Afro-Funk at its finest! The venue is nice, I just wish they would bring that wonderful chef back. We tried to eat across the street at Bantam Pub but left still hungry due to the blatant racism displayed.

Went for the Sunday evening jam session and it was awesome! The kitchen is currently closed but they did have a lady who made chicken or beef burritos which was good. The drinks were ok but the music was fantastic. I will definitely be back when I am in Atlanta.

I went on Wednesday to hear the house band play jazz and I was not disappointed these cats know how to swing. They are seasoned veterans with a little age but, they know how to entertain a room. They allowed visiting musicians (singers, drummers, trumpet, sax, guitar and piano) many where young lions and lioneses in college or high school who were invited onstage to showcase their talent, I was blown away with the passion and skill set of these musicians who played classic Cole Porter songs like they had been playing for years. Absoluted Impressed! I have to also acknowledge the mature sultry women of my age that graced the stage with a few song standards. I loved seeing grown and sexy women on stage doing their own thing.Lastly, their bartender Sparkle (She is sporting nice braids/dreads) is off the charts good @ what she does, I had two lemon drop Martini's that were outstanding. Order one when you visit and you will be equally pleased. P.S. don't forget to tip the musicians and bartenders well since there is no cover charge and the music is exceptional.
