Viva la Vegan closed down a couple months ago. It is now called Mindful Eatz! They took over on Saturday 2/20 (soft opening). Hopefully, everything will be changed soon. Food is great and fresh! Customer service is good as well. Also, EVERYTHING is still Vegan. I can’t wait to go back to try more items!

Food is very tasty. It's just disappointing when you go and something is no longer available. Customer service is pretty good. They forgot my order of cauliflower, but got them ready as soon as possible. I haven't had any cauliflower as good as theirs yet!

This place is closed. Under new owners apparently and opening in February 2021. Don't waste time driving like we did :(

Always great food . The service is normally a wait 15-20 mins if you do not order online. My favorite is the shrimp po boy in a spinach wrap with kale salad.

I love Viva but when people want to support and your doors are not open when it's time to open, that doesn't look good at all. I came from NC and planned to come here and I've been waiting for 21 minutes. They're still not open. I love supporting black businesses but this is a problem that needs to be eliminated.

Hole-in-the-wall flavor bomb for Vegans! I happened to be in the area and saw this was close by. Very pleased to have found this plant based option in the West End. The updated menu is posted below. As seen they have a Wide Variety of options to choose from. I asked for a rec and some of the best sellers include the "shrimp" po boy, Buffalo Cauliflower, and Philly "Cheesesteak". Thus we purchased the Buffalo and Shrimp with Dill Fries. The po boy tasted like the real thing. It was hefty saucy and somehow reproduced the texture and taste of shrimp! All served warm in a delicious wheat hoagie. The Buffalo Cauliflower was also a great option. Although served in a burger bun there is no patty. Instead there are whole pieces of chopped cauliflower coated in a Buffalo sauce. Rethinking about the dill fries are causing me to salivate. Such a simple wonderful seasoning that generates a massive flavor boost. If you live close by this is certainly a vegan place worth exploring and returning to since there is such a vast menu. It may not be in the best area of town but the food is unique and worth the trip.

They need a new cashier with better customer service ? Cashier Kita act like it’s an inconvenience to ask her anything. On top of that, half the items on the menu they no longer sell. ?It might be a good idea to update the menu. Oh and I ordered sweet cauliflower and they barely had any sauce on them. I just want some good vegan food and some decent service. Is that too much to ask for?!!

It was pretty good! I would've like the food hotter but the flavors were delicious! I had the collard green egg rolls and teriyaki cauliflower.

Food: First time here. Personally, it's a little overrated. I purchased the BBQ jackfruit sandwich with dill fries. The taste was bland. I took the sandwich home and added seasoning to give it taste. Maybe I should have ordered the "shrimp poboy " instead. ? I feel like I just wasted $10.80 honestly. I'd give a 1.8.Service: The customer service wasn't optimal but it was descent. The wait time was longer than expected. I'd give a 3.Sanitation: I'd give a 3.

I watched this place from the train for months before the pandemic started. I finally made it. This little whole in the wall spot has so much heart. The store front feels cozy. It almost feels like an oasis in city. The food was delicious. I can't remember the name of my burger I had. It was something like the "idiot chris". It was A double burger w/chilli cheese and an onion ring on top. To top that off my container was full of well seasoned fries. IT WAS WAS WORTH THE WAIT. I'll be back.

I heard about this place from one of my favorite YouTubers, Sweet Potato Soul, so I knew I had to stop by. I realized when I got there that I've passed by this place SO many times and I had no clue what it was. There was a line so I was happy to see that but sad when I realized they had almost sold out of everything. To be fair it was very close to closing and it is a great thing for the owner to sell out. I was with 4 other people so we ordered a few different things. One being the shrimp po'boy and the Philly Cheesesteak. Both were incredible! A guy in our group was so serious about the shrimp being "real" it was hilarious. The food was definitely worth the wait.

The food is delicious. I had a Philly with chilli cheese fries and buffalo cauliflower. Taste like mama was back there herself y'all. The prices are affordable and the potions are large. Definitely recommend eating here. Doc was so nice too next time I come I'm going to have him recommend something for me. Whether you're vegan or not I guarantee you'll be back here for more. Definitely comfort food at its finest

Wow just wow ... false advertisement at its finest!!! I've been here many times before and it was always a great experience. BUT TODAY was AWFUL. A waste of time and money First of all if there are no buns for anything on the menu I think it would be common courtesy to alert the customers that there are none before having them pay for their meal and just finding out when opening the box. Secondly the Philly was just stuffed with unnecessary amounts of cheese kale. The jackfruit was probably put on the grill with nothing to amplify the taste it literally taste like sweat. That musty kind. I can't lie the fries were OK though but all in all two thumbs down in a big fat F. Never coming back to this place ever again! I literally paid $30 for a bunch of kale smh
